29/11/2015 16:05 | purely anecdotal i know, but i took the time to visit two curry/pc world stores yesterday and on both occasions the stores were busier than i have ever seen them. not crazy fight in the aisles stuff but very heavy footfall and the staff told me it had been consistently busy.not everyone was buying online, not by a long way. most popular commodities per the staff i spoke with ....cookers. | muscletrade
28/11/2015 11:23 | By the end of the day retail analyst Experian-IMRG predicts that spending online will hit £1.07 billion, a 32% increase on last year's £810 million, and companies such as John Lewis and Argos have struggled to keep their websites up and running, the Press Association reports. | cockneyrebel

28/11/2015 09:40 | Punters shopped online from everything I've searched. Seems the fighting in the stores last year has put UK shoppers off of Black Friday scrums for good - which is a good thing imo - don't want these American style scrums in the stores while shops sell stuff at too low a discount. So punters bought on-line, which seems to have been a great success - especially with J.Lewis site having been down for an hour and Argos as slow as paint drying. All imo. CR | cockneyrebel
