05/6/2018 18:01 | Another 1.2 million shares dumped just after 11am this morning and a further 250k this afternoon. Our seller isn't finished yet. Good to see the share price holding firm, so there must be willing buyers out there. | lord gnome
31/5/2018 22:59 | lordgnome- I think you may be right. I on the other am waiting patiently for this to rise above £1 and beyond. I think I may take this stock through to retirement. I can't argue with the dividend policy and we will start to see some real profits at the end of 2019 when all the recent acquisitions come into play. | jq1984
31/5/2018 17:23 | jq1984 - those three chunky trades coincided with the sudden drop. It generated a lot of AT buying that brought the price back up again, but I wouldn't be at all surprised to learn that we have a seller in the background with a large position to unload. | lord gnome
31/5/2018 16:52 | Thanks for the info. Looking at the trades today there were 3 big sells at 95p, I don't know if this had any effect. It is becoming quite volatile of late, around 6 percent swing in price in one day is large even for AIM. On the plus side, it seems to be holding around the 95p mark by the end of play every day | jq1984
31/5/2018 15:29 | Most investors have not received their dividend yet so not available to reinvest. When A J Bell pays me it's all back in if they are still sub 95p. | lab305
31/5/2018 14:18 | Would only drop due to divi on XD day not on day it's paid out to shareholders. Quite the opposite as Investors often reinvest in the same co shares but seeing as it's in US cents then many might have to wait for GBP equivalent to be paid into their account. I know I will at AJ Bell as recently had this timing issue with XLM divi. Best wishes | blueeyes13
31/5/2018 14:16 | I have never known dividend payment date to have an effect on share price (unlike ex-dividend date). I note that volumes today are unusually high which may well be related to the slightly more volatile share price movements but in the absence of any news from the company I can only guess at what might be behind it. | plootocrat
31/5/2018 13:57 | Did the share price tank today because of the dividend being paid out? It looked as if we were going close to £1 before it fell to 93p. Too much of a drop for it to be anything else I suppose but I can't find any conformation. | jq1984

26/5/2018 17:01 | That's where we beg to differ, I guess. It is ambiguous at the moment and I prefer to err on the conservative side always. Funny how 1.75 + 1.75 = a little more than a previous half-yearly 3.45 though! | divmad
26/5/2018 08:18 | Divmad 12 months = 1 year. In one year from now the dividend should be 3.45+1.75+1.75+1.75 cents. Simple. You may believe that the final dividend next year will drop from 3.45 but I wouldn't put money on it. | lab305
25/5/2018 15:31 | Hmmm. Not sure what the forward looking annual dividend payment will be, lab305. I see your workings but you are mixing one half yearly payment (as a quarterly payment) with three quarterlies at 1.75c . I simply doubled the current half yearly dividend, to get 6.9c US. Admittedly I used an out of date fx rate, so at 1.333 the gbp divi should be at least 5.18p going forward. Yield is then 5.44% gross at 95p. Anyway, still a very healthy income yield, well covered. Where can we find more like that please? | divmad
25/5/2018 08:59 | Divmad see my post 228.Slightly out of date as pound is 1.33 today. That is now 6.541 pence per share = 6.81%. Of course if natural gas prices continue to rise (2.60 to 2.95 in last month) then the dividend may be even higher. | lab305
25/5/2018 07:42 | Just to mention in case anyone hasn't seen it, but the final 2017 dividend payment, raised 85% to US cents 3.45, will be paid next week (May 31st). If maintained at that higher rate throughout 2018, it suggests a gross dividend yield to a new buyer at this level, in £s, of 4.8%. Not bad. | divmad
25/5/2018 07:16 | Not only tax free, but very likely to be a growing dividend over time too. What's not to like? | divmad
23/5/2018 16:09 | Nope, I have no concerns on that point as my shares are held in an ISA and the tax is reclaimed. I shall look forward to my 6% tax free yield for years to come - plus the capital growth that comes with it. Win win n’est ce pas? | lord gnome
23/5/2018 08:34 | Lord Gnome I have no recollection of questioning your investment motives , however since your first purchase on 6 March 2017 the share price has gone from 65p to 96p. That is a 48% increase in 14 months. This if I understand you correctly is just a nice bonus but your main concern is that your broker has deducted withholding tax amounting to less than 1p per share. | lab305
23/5/2018 07:39 | Lab350. What gives you the right to question my investment motives? I am here for the growing income. Discussion on withholding tax is highly relevant to me and plenty of others. Capital appreciation is a nice bonus. | lord gnome
23/5/2018 00:07 | melody9999 move your sipp. Youinvest or Jarvis XO. Some brokers are just too lazy to claim for you. Anyone who can be bothered can read back through the posts on here and see the answer time and again. | lab305
22/5/2018 23:37 | Divmad 242 - I have a DGOC holding in my SIPP and my broker idealing are suggesting that they are not able to accept w8ben forms. Where is it written down that UK pension funds are exempt? | melody9999
22/5/2018 12:07 | Seems to have worked for them! Was a lot of "hmmm" about them listing here rather than US but I'm glad they did :) | spectoacc
22/5/2018 10:53 | Thank you lab305. This is certainly an oddity in my book, can't see why they listed on AIM in the first place. | thegreatgeraldo
22/5/2018 09:20 | lab, just trying to help a fellow poster/shareholder. Otherwise my shares have been squirrelled away for well over a year now and I'm rather pleased with my investment. Learn to chill some, sir. | divmad
22/5/2018 08:47 | Meanwhile whilst the company and share price go from strength to strength with returns by far eclipsing withholding tax this board gets bogged down in an irrelevant and often misinformed discussion . Get some shares or get a life. | lab305 |
