10/7/2015 07:45 | Your profit figure for FEVR is wrong by factor of 10 I think btw. They are likely to hit £50m turnover this year with about £12-14m profit. | hydrus
10/7/2015 07:40 | Yes but they have a unique proposition, created a brand new market with their product (premium mixers) and have massive growth in turnover and profit. I'm interested in answers to my post above if anyone has any thoughts. | hydrus
10/7/2015 07:37 | Looking at how the market reacts to the prospect of a successful drinks company look at Fevertree (FEVR). I have looked at them previously but they were £100mln then market cap now they are close on £400mln market cap based on £34.7mln turn over and £1.3mln profit. | berny3
09/7/2015 21:29 | What differentiates Distil's products? I'm struggling to understand why retailers would stock their products ahead of others and why consumers would buy them? Of course they can get products stocked in some shops and some consumers will purchase but what's the real catalyst for growth? Not negative on the company just interested in views. | hydrus

03/7/2015 11:02 | My comment on the Progressive Equity Research below. Is it runs a calculation based on the margins continuing from the last y/e results. They are anticipating an increase in revenue to £1mln which equates to a 50% growth in revenue yr1 - 20% Yr2 and 8.3% growth Yr3. 50% growth in revenue yr1 would be great but not unexpected as we have Sainsbury online for Redleg plus US sales (Blackwoods Gin and Blavod) and new listings for Gin, Vodka and Rum UK. A drop to 20% for Yr2. 20% growth would still be pretty enviable to the sector. I don't agree with the drop to 8.3% growth yr3 as we have seen greater growth than that in own brands previously year on year. Actual results the margins increased significantly from 1st half of the year to the 2nd. 1st 56.07% to 2nd 64.5%. I am interested to see in 1st 6 month results whether margins are lower (cost of stocking for Christmas sales including in 1st half over second perhaps) Positive factors which would move these estimates upwards would be another listing for Redleg Rum in another supermarket and US success for Redleg Rum. We are yet to hear about the US approval for Redleg but if sales can be pushed forward like it sounds they are currently in UK and Europe. That provides more substance for Redleg when it is listed in the US. | berny3
03/7/2015 09:29 | Positive start to the year, with the expanded number of places stocking RedLeg in particular it will be interesting to see how far we are off breakeven. If sales momentum continues, hopefully it will be in the near future. Anyone attending the AGM today? Also, does anyone have the latest research note from progressive-research as mentioned in the RNS? | dangreen86
03/7/2015 08:40 | They can only have 3 months data in and this is traditionally the quietest half of the year. Pleased to see Diva getting under way. I feel Diva Vodka is an extremely strong statement in a brand and has great potential in the IP. I hope we can get out of the volatility spikes and now see the share price steadily move forward. Onwards and upwards - good start to the weekend. | berny3
03/7/2015 08:02 | Very positive statement. | someuwin
03/7/2015 07:32 | Approvals in the U.S. and financial breakeven should hopefully start to move the share price. This RNS is a very positive step. | charaxes1
03/7/2015 07:14 | Interesting statement. Looks like the new listings are having a positive impact: "The new financial year has started well with both sales volumes and revenues strongly ahead of last year as our key brands gain greater exposure across a wide number of sales and distribution channels in the UK and overseas. RedLeg is performing particularly strongly in the UK ." | berny3
