If you look over your posts just today, your logic defies belief. I think you've just answered your own question in post timed at 12.17.

Ouch.Bad week for dcp.The funding wasn't a major concern, but being realistic it may not even go ahead now because of the notice issued today.Terrible timing.

phaps PL should take a paycut to @£25ka year like normal ppl.Hes certainly not worth a penny more.
why cant the directors stump up the 500k?how much have they taken out of it over the yrs?

its like legalised fraud how these sorts of companies list and fleece and comeup with nothing.

where did the diamonds go?they cant put them up as security?

not a holder but have to say......
stinks.

The deterioration of this company is shambolic. I cant believe how much has been lost in past few weeks. PL's reputation is currently in tatters unless he can turn this around and quickly.

And thank you too Ged. I'll keep watching even if a fear the brick wall is now feet away. I like to think this board has kept a relatively level head, especially thanks to Tiger60. No doubt on the LSE this is an amazing buying opportunity.

Under the circumstance I think it's inappropriate to say "sorry to lose you". It's been good to communicate with you. All the best with any other investments you have.

Oh FFS how many more accidents can there be?

500K to keep it as a going concern. Is that just to keep the £331487 remuneration to the directors intack?

What has happened to the diamonds they said they had ready for sale in October?

I smell a rat! Have we all been had?

Hi,
Having been an investor here a few years ago I still receive emails from DCP when they put out a statement so though I would look in here after receiving an email today.

I have the greatest respect for Paul Loudon, but his imperative has always been to get the mine up and running. It is a personal goal for him and a matter of pride. I sold my shares four years ago when I felt too much of the future profit potential was being taken away from holders of ordinary shares. A tie up with a larger diamond miner with Loudon giving up control would have provided a far better outcome.

Lace is a world class asset, but that does not mean shareholders will ever see much, if any return on their investment.

I will continue to keep an eye on DCP but would need to look very carefully at the numbers - Loans, outstanding bonds that if I remember correctly paid 10% per annum, offtake agreements, future dilution before allocating any funds again to this enterprise.

For the ordinary shareholder all too easily pink diamonds could turn into white elephants.
