02/12/2015 20:37 | You haven't. Didnt you say you dont care about delays the fundamentals are the same? You deserve it others here dont. Its a disgrace, doubly so as the mkt knew. Now where did i hear 'fully funded'? | tiger60
02/12/2015 17:23 | Of course this is disappointing in some ways but DCP has always been a long term project. Delays cost money and the company has now given us the details of how it intends to get itself back on course. Yes, there will probably be a drop in the share price (again !) but 2016 should be good. The BoD have shown that it has learnt some lessons and I admire the way it has spelt out, warts and all, what has happened and what they are planning to do. | jaf1948
01/12/2015 13:34 | If you want to see lots of rocks flying there's a new video posted today on the home page of the DCP website. At least something is happening at Lace. 7.5p to buy now after all these sales this morning. | ged5
24/11/2015 20:01 | when i think of this, this company could make some serious profit in the years ahead if luck favours it. | iicb
20/11/2015 11:12 | Comments from share price Angel: " DiamondCorp (LON:DCP) 7.74 pence, Mkt Cap £28.4m – Development work restarts at the 290m level • Following the stabilisation of the area with steel arched sets, tunnelling has restarted at the 290m level. • Tunnelling is now into the more competent K4 kimberlite which is high grade and is being achieved at the pace originally planned. • Arched steel sets will also enable the safe blasting of the slot between the 290 and 310m level. Conclusion: It is good to see that tunnelling work has resumed at the 290m level. This combined with the successful commissioning of the conveyor belt system to bring ore to surface more efficiently should help the company progress their development work. This news should help stabilise the share price from here. We look forward to further news flow as kimberlite from K4 is processed and there is a sufficiently large parcel generated to be sold. I note further up the page that South Africa have increased their interest rates. Will this increase the value of the Rand? If so, will costs be affected? | ged5
20/11/2015 08:51 | Indeed, we were restricted in the amount we could purchase. At last we will be producing from the high grade Upper K4 mining block from next month. With the commisioning of the conveyor belt, the Xray sorter, no water problems and now this latest news, we should soon have a resource update and hopefully some exciting news about diamond finds. | ged5
20/11/2015 08:47 | DiamondCorp (DCP.L) – BUY: Lace updateMarket Cap: £28.7m; Current Price: 7.6p 290m level development resumesn Following the completion of back-filling on the 290m level and installation of steel sets over a 10m section of the tunnel, development tunnelling has resumed. This was completed around two weeks ahead of schedule.n Tunnelling on the 290m level is now progressing in the competent and high grade K4 kimberlite.n Forecasts and price target under review, BUY rating maintained.NORTHLAND CAPITAL PARTNERS VIEW: It is positive to see that DiamondCorp is now back on track with the development of the Lace Diamond Mine and we will update up forecasts to reflect the delay caused by the unstable ground conditions. These teething issues are relatively unimportant compared to the scale of high margin production expected over the life of the mine. Dr Ryan D. Long +44 (0)20 7382 1131 | liquid millionaire
20/11/2015 07:46 | GeD5 You are quite correct. PIs were included, I bought myself. What I should have said was restricted, compared with the IIs. This morning is good news though and let us hope there is some reaction. | ridicule

19/11/2015 16:14 | We need some more news on the re-financing or carat sales to get the share price excited again. even the 6m purchase didn't do it. | iicb
19/11/2015 11:07 | Lucara have discovered a diamond the size of an orange. Fingers crossed that DCP make some decent finds too | darcon
16/11/2015 19:01 | thanks ridicule. to people tend to buy the whole collection of stones then at auction? suppose if they are small ones then yes. | iicb
14/11/2015 13:13 | I thought production was delayed because of the safety measures to secure the fractured ground. Wasn't this the first ore from Upper K4? ridicule, PI's were included in the open offer at 10p but I agree far better to buy this week at 8p and under. | ged5
14/11/2015 12:52 | iiCB I think they probably held them over as diamond prices are still weak. The auctions also pay better prices for the larger lots. There are the biggies sold singly that we all hope for, but then there are the mid-carat larger stones that when mixed with lower grade diamonds improve the overall lot price. The important point is the Lace is now a proper producer given the 10 fold increase in mined Kimberlite and this IS a game changer. I bought more last week ar 8p, a 20% discount to the earlier placing price that PIs were excluded from. All we need noe are a few 'Biggies'. | ridicule
13/11/2015 18:39 | if we have been doing that anyhow by truck, why did they not have enough carats to sell i wonder? | iicb
13/11/2015 09:07 | No it's not. But we now have the conveyor belt fully commisioned and the ore is coming from the Upper K4 block. There's great expectation from this block and with 400 tonne per hour being brought to the surface surely we'll find something of value! | ged5
13/11/2015 08:29 | Yes, it's actually the main reason I have been a solid holder rather than a trader, though my loss of course. As they are a function of geochemistry then evidence of some is very hopeful. On its own though it is definitely not a reason to invest. | hpcg
13/11/2015 08:23 | That's true but they have found a Type 11a white diamond and when one is found the probability there are others apparently is increased. Also in older presentations it's mentioned that there is a likelihood of finding fancy pinks at Lace. From memory I think purples were mentioned as well. We live in hope! | ged5
13/11/2015 07:16 | After Gem, Lucara also had a decent large stone tender That is the kicker here; we could get lucky and pick up a decent sized coloured or IIa early on and get an enormous boost. Having said that, waiting on luck is not an investment best practice so we and management have to assume no such good fortune. | hpcg
12/11/2015 15:08 | Video interview with CEO Loudon DiamondCorp (LON:DCP) CEO Paul Loudon says the company’s ability to pull material out of its Lace mine has increased by ten-fold following the installation of a 400 tonne per hour underground conveyor belt system. As well as an increase in capacity at the South African site, the cost of future development will be lower, Loudon says, given in the absence of the need for trucks for waste hauling. The new system will also help negotiations with the firm’s lenders, he claims. Debt repayments had been due in the first quarter of 2016, but plan is to roll up early interest payments into the loan until DiamondCorp can generate sufficient funds. | proactivest
12/11/2015 12:26 | Someone just bought 6.8m DCP at 8p | wisecat2
12/11/2015 08:13 | With all the talk on various forums and with the latest news about pink and blue diamonds, it is gratifying to see that a Type 11a white diamond can also fetch such a large amount. From Gemd this week:- "13 rough diamonds achieved a value of greater than US$ 1.0 million each, including an exceptional quality 357 carat Type IIa white diamond which achieved US$ 19.3 million on tender " | ged5
12/11/2015 07:30 | Jaffa, wrong again. Rns as expected. Apology? It made perfect sense. We have had a number of relatively disappointing announcements. This is a chance, an advert in effect, to say that is behind us we are now in a position to ramp up production and get nearer our goal of becoming cash flow positive. It has the dual effect of cutting costs and increasing throughput. | tiger60
11/11/2015 22:49 | Apprentice over. Jaf, Didn't you notice the caption unter the photo. "First development kimberlite from UK4 Block to stockpile by conveyor belt" Also Why? | ged5 |
