seems t be having a good run recently but think it is looking overbought and there are plenty of other stocks which are much better value. They have wonerful brands but to think intrinsic value is £15 well, what can i say except Cuckoo. love the drinks/brands but in this environment lucky to be above 900p.

bonzo...diageo is not imho overvalued at present. I put an intrinsic value of approx £15 on this companies shares.

love the products as i am an aloholic -however, above 900p this is way over-valued on a p/e of 16 esp. when there is a massive slowdown and premier brands consumption will be reduced globally. Should be 800p max and then be a buyer but in meantime sell or short.

Down a bit today on results ; seems a bit harsh looking briefly at them.Only 1% under the analysts pretax profit consensus and a positive statement.Perhaps reflects the current madness of the market.

I dont think PWs sale is that significant in the context of his overall holding. He is only allowed to sell at certain times i.e. after results. He was going through a divorce so maybe needs funds for settlement of this

Results out , seem impressive but with the usual 2008 future caution statement.The market seems unimpressed , I am tempted to add a few.

Latest US Neilsen data still showing growth for DGE brands . I think alot of price fall is due to worries on US revenue so this should give some comfort, probably responsible for soem of yesterday afternoon rally. What is peoples views on the defensive nature of DGE shares ?
