23/6/2024 10:27 | It's all about how happy you are to hold for me. If you bought now don't be surprised if it keeps falling. BUT reckon on balance should be nicely up in 1-3 years. | rmorris94

21/6/2024 11:59 | Questions What happened this am around 10 o clock (fat fingers)? When is St Swithins Day or should I hang on for Ebor in September (my preferred option) Lower lows and highs Time for a small libation (drown my sorrows) Have a good weekend everyone | jubberjim
21/6/2024 06:09 | I started buying at about £14 and sold at just under £37. My point is that currently the erosion of the share price is relentless against the FTSE making all time highs. This could go much lower and when it bottoms and then maybe starts to climb, I might buy my original holding back. I don't do falling knives and the cash is making more than the dividend on deposit (about 5%). Thanks BTC | billy two cocks
20/6/2024 18:24 | So you'd prefer it as a stock if it had gone up? If you believe in it enough to buy, keep it and hold to the process. If you don't believe it was a buy when bought why do you not now? | rmorris94
20/6/2024 10:02 | I wonder how low this will go. The fizz has well and truly gne. Bearing in mind that the current hammering of the share price is at a time when the FTSE is hitting all time highs, it doesn't bode well. £15? | billy two cocks
20/6/2024 09:36 | Take either of those ;-) Oddo BHF cuts Diageo price target to 3,100 pence - 'outperform' Barclays cuts Diageo price target to 3,360 (3,460) pence - 'overweight' | philanderer

19/6/2024 10:45 | The new CFO was announced on 03 May so it's hard to see how this could possibly affect today's price move. Almost all very short term share price changes are random and consequently have no reason. | anhar
19/6/2024 10:10 | A quick CFO change at a large coporate is rarely good news. I would guess there's a guidance cut on the way for the year ahead. Whether that's in the share price already ..etc. | essentialinvestor

18/6/2024 06:21 | Premium/luxury will pick up just as soon as interest rates take a cut and disposable income rises, Lidl lager is not so bad so I’m told, but most buyers would buy a premium brand as/if/when they can, I stick to full fat Guinness but the Zero sales are certainly picking up in my local.. :o) | laurence llewelyn binliner
18/6/2024 05:16 | Schroders' Noffke buys DiageoSchroder manager Sue Noffke picked up a position in Diageo (DGE) after the valuation of the drinks giant sunk to a near-decade low.Noffke added the Citywire Elite Companies AA-rated drinks firm, owner of Johnnie Walker and Guinness, to her £225m Schroder Income Growth (SCF) investment trust.'Over the past three years the shares have underperformed due to higher inflation and interest rates which created headwinds to sales growth and valuation,' Noffke said.'[We] believe that the derating of the shares, which now trade at the lowest price earnings multiple in almost 10 years, has created an opportunity to initiate a modest position.'More generally, Noffke said there is a 'noticeable disconnect between company fundamentals and valuations' in the UK stock market, which has been recognised by overseas corporates and private equity buyers. The shares softened 0.1% to £25.76 on Monday and have shed 22% over the last 12 months. | xtrmntr
