04/12/2013 19:41 | Ok lol. 3p would be great but I think 1.7p is a good and realistic near term although that is not pricing in the second mill. If we get the all clear on the live testing of the mill in January and some initial revenues then we are set fair for a strong move up to 1.2p | mach100
04/12/2013 19:00 | No not looking to sell DKL, these are my longer term shares along with POL I am looking forward to the revenue figures for 2014/2015/2016 I know they will need funding for the second mill, but not at this share price And by then the share price will be @ 3p+ Haha. | henners1993
04/12/2013 16:57 | You looking to exit henners? Care to say why as I am bullish about this obviously. Someone only got .90 today for 150k so you are right. That .95 might have been a really delayed buy then. Would love to hear your views Henner. | mach100
04/12/2013 14:16 | 0.920p Bid / 1.005p Offer for 100,000 I do not know how he/she managed to get 0.950p on the BID for 250k??? because i have not been able to get more than 0.920p for at least a week. LOL! | henners1993
03/12/2013 23:05 | 820 dollars a ton now for February futures. Tdw asking for 1.005 now and someone got .95p for 250k shares on the bid. If we get a positive update about readiness for January I expect a re-rating here. Buys are building nicely here in a wider market which is in a tailspin. My share for 2014. | mach100
29/11/2013 13:40 | I think we will see a small tick up soon or at least a narrowing of the spread. I was quoted 1p on a dummy buy whereas previously they were on offer at .978p. I hope there is news next week about the readiness of the mill for January as we are not far away from live testing now. | mach100
25/11/2013 14:20 | Well those .98 trades are definitely buys. I just did a dummy trade on TDW and was quoted .978. There was also a sale today at .92. So there has at least been a steady buying tend and the spread is on around 6% and not the 15% it seems. Incidentally does anybody know much about Siva? I thought it was reputable but I see it was involved in PAL which seemed to have some funny goings on in terms of how the board of PAL managed business. | mach100
23/11/2013 12:09 | Wow, Big jump by close on Thursday November 21st in Crude Palm Oil futures for February. Now at 827. So that is 3.5% higher than the conservative 800 dollars and nicely timed for DKL which will have revenues from January. Can anyone hazard a guess at what the fact that all the last six trades have been at at .98 signifies? Although the mid-price is .975, does it mean that mm's are offering above this in the knowledge that the price is going to rise? Or are these in fact buys and the mm's are asking just above mid-price while the offer is a max of .90? I will try a dummy trade Monday to see if I can determine what TDW are offering so I will get a clue. | mach100
21/11/2013 22:00 | 77000 shares traded around mid price 97.5p. Might try a dummy trade tomorrow to see what Tds are offering. If they are all sells we could be due a tick up as the official offer price is .9. If they are buys then I guess mm's have stock to offload. Still only maximum 9 weeks from news although Nov 20th was a staging post in building the mill so we should have an rns in the pipeline. | mach100
19/11/2013 22:33 | Can you drive the accountant? I think it is only me and you in this, we might have to do the harvesting :)The house broker Optiva has a target price of 1.68 which would be about 65% upside on the offer, based on a conservative 800 dollars for a ton of CPO. Think the current price is $810 and it has been at $850. Its first six years are free of corporation tax. The 1.68 TP doesn't include another 26000 hectare site which DKL has an option on in Guitry and it is a tightly held share. Siva Group and Modipalm are very experienced in the sector so it looks like all the building blocks are in place. The share is up about 12% in the last few days with some chunky buying so looks like investors are also taking a position. 1.7p would do me nicely by April and if the recent run continues we should be at 1.2p by January when the real action begins! | mach100
19/11/2013 20:40 | Mach100 - yes, should be some very positive RNSs over the coming months.Could easily double or treble by April provided there are no major problems with the new plant. | the accountant
19/11/2013 14:28 | Really interesting buys coming in and the price is ticking up. My share for 2014, first revenues coming in January 2014. Impressive speed in an industry where it takes years from set up to production to sales. | mach100
18/11/2013 14:19 | Back in for more today at 98p, Buyers are starting to move in. I think this is due a breakout and should be a share to watch for 2014. Even if there is teething problems with the mill in January, these will hopefully be fixable and we should be ready for the first harvest and revenues rolling in from March. Will be exciting run up to January's mill update by which time I expect the share price to be higher than now. Love how under the radar this has been but even this seems to be changing. | mach100
15/11/2013 20:31 | Mach100 - agree on all points. Hope marab returns in the new year too. | the accountant
15/11/2013 19:19 | Got in today. Love marab's analysis here. If this is going to take off I want to be in before the herd. 2 big milestones in q1 2014. The testing of the site in January and the first harvest in March. 2 good rns's will see this motor. Hopefully Ivory Coast won't see any political turmoil and then holders can reap rewards. | mach100
05/11/2013 09:16 | video interview Dekel Oil to become second largest palm oil producer in Ivory Coat by 2014 with new mill Youval Rasin, CEO of palm oil producer Dekel Oil (LON:DKL) tells Proactiveinvestors that the company is set to become second largest palm oil producer in Ivory Coast by 2014 | steffyloveshares
20/9/2013 13:20 | marab - look forward to your return, I find your posts most informative. I don't have a holding here but it's on my watchlist and the threads a great read. | opaldouglas
18/9/2013 11:14 | Not sure many double glazing salesmen read this thread - or indeed any anyone but a select few !!! | the accountant
18/9/2013 11:08 | The Accountant Many thanks and please remove your email before you get double glazing offers ;-) | marab
18/9/2013 09:46 | marab - sorry to see you taking a back seat for a while. Your many posts have been very informative with a touch of humour. I rarely post on any thread but if anything comes to mind I will post it. | the accountant
17/9/2013 20:35 | I have been posting here for about six months now and learned a lot about Orang-utans and the weather on the Ivory Coast. Because of ever increasing difficulty in typing which means cutting back on posting stuff, and a current dispute with Optiva (long story), I won't be posting here in the foreseeable future. Hopefully some of you lurkers will post a bit until things start to move up a gear at the end of December. Personally I won't be buying or selling any DKL shares at least until we see how the first harvest goes and I still think DKL is as good an investment now as it was when I first bought in. If you have queries on DKL I would highly recommend dropping Lincoln Moore an email at lincoln@dekeloil.com as he always seems happy to communicate with share holders. Good news DKL have been trying out their transport system before the new season starts ;-) | marab
15/9/2013 11:43 | In the UK it's 15C, raining and depressing. In the Ivory Coast it's 27C, 94% humidity, thunderstorms and the palm fruits are loving it ;-) | marab
14/9/2013 11:15 | Longer term holders of DKL, who are also football fans, might want to consider booking a site visit in a few years time ;-) 'Cote d'Ivoire: Govt Makes a Bid to Host African Cup of Nations in 2019 or 2021 The Ivorian government has backed its football authorities to put in a bid to host the 2019 or 2021 African Cup of Nations. The Ivorian last hosted the African cup of nations in 1984 and made a bid to host the 2006 event but the political turmoil in the country at that time denied them the opportunity as Egypt won the bid. The Ivorian government has given the Football Federation the go-ahead to submit the candidancy as the country starts creating conditions and atmosphere that will let CAF give them the opportunity.' | marab |
