Quite a few of my shareholdings have been showing large late-reported trades for which I cannot get any explanation from the companies involved. It could be the broker is short of stock or is looking cover an undisclosed buy. Any info you get would be interesting. |

Zeus's update today notes that "current spot prices are significantly above our FY25E pricing assumptions of €775. International prices are currently trading above €1,000 /tonne".
And "risks for FY25E marginally shifted to the upside following today’s announcement."
Plus if cashew production is successfully tested at 20 tonnes/day as indicated today this would also be above their forecasts:
"Notably, equipment has now been tested at rates of 15 tonnes of RCN processed per day, with plans to test at 20 tonnes/day in the near future, representing a significant step-up from the 10 tonnes/day reported in October. Our FY25E forecasts are premised on an average production rate of 19.2 tonnes/day." |
NTV should make that and more with cashews cash flow positive. |

CPO prices increasing as expected
Cashews on the way, cash flow positive by the looks of it for December.
Tested at 15t ok, 20t testing shortly.
CPO high season looking good and cashews looking good, I'm happy and should see a steady rise in the share price. |
November CPO production is really low compared to last year, but this is just seasonal and so immaterial in importance relative to:
(1) CPO prices achieved rocketed up 24.4% and will probably go higher in December - importantly as the production high season approaches
(2) cashew production is going well, with production increasing without any technical problems and prices strong.
Above all, "the Directors expect the Cashew Operation will move into monthly positive operational cashflow during December 2024"..... |

If international CPO prices are higher then local prices will inevitably follow. DKL said this themselves just last month, which is pretty definitive....
"International CPO prices increased during October 2024 to over €1,050 per tonne. We are seeing this flow through to our November pre sales and we expect to report a material increase in our CPO sales prices for November 2024." |

OI correct, but if you are buying FFB at lower prices than worldwide pricing then selling price of CPO can be lower, it's all about margins. We are told they are good, up to the individual if you believe. |

does it matter that much to DKL what the price is for CP oil since imo DKL do not own the palms that produce the fruit that produce the oil ?
Is it correct that DKL just gets a fee/cut because their mill produces the CPO using palm fruits produced by private farmers ?
The "real" winners if the CPO price is high are the farmers (& not DKL) who provide their palm fruits to DKL, since they will sell their fruits to DKL at a higher price if the price for CPO is higher, yes ?

(looking at the CVs of the bosses the problems at Dekel are the result of the exec dirs being trained accountants !
they might be experts at accounts & audits but they do not appear to be experts at operating mill equipment to produce CPO or process cashew nuts to get the nuts out of their shells ! |
CPO benchmark price is (anecdotally) a contrarian indicator of DKL CPO production! Hopefully this time is different. |

We expect to report an improvement in cashew results in the Q4 2024 report compared to Q4 2023. In addition, based on the current positive progress, the Cashew Operation is tracking well to become operationally cashflow positive from December 2024.
One would hope so, given cashews weren't working in Q4 2023 |
Chart is looking really good and some decent buying action over the last week. Almost a 52 week high, yet only just getting started. |
