Trading update
DCD Media, the independent TV distribution and production group, is pleased to announce a strong start to the year and is expecting to report revenue of GBP5.75m for the 6 months to September 2020. The Group intends to announce its interim financial statements in mid-December 2020.
The Group also announces the completion of a revolving funding facility from its principal bankers, Coutts & Co. This will allow the business to control more content as it acquires new programming going forwards. This facility complements existing long-term funding arrangements.
David Craven, Chairman of DCD Media Plc, said : "The team have worked tirelessly through the COVID-19 crisis to deliver positive results. In particular, we are pleased to note the concerted team effort to sign a significant distribution agreement for quality drama My Life Is Murder starring Lucy Lawless.
"We are also pleased to close on a new funding facility. We believe this continues to validate the strength of our business model and provides further funding options alongside our existing supportive investment partnerships."
