As with many quality companies,the shareprice has been decimated.Until it becomes clear about the path of Covid 19,there will be unpredictable volatility.Pribabky best to come back and look at it in 2021/22.

I think they've taken over 22 (?) Tesco forecourts.No big deal.As investors know,the shareprice is one of the least useful bits of information about a company,unless,of course,you are about to buy or sell.The share price has gone nowhere over the past three years.Fine.Most investing is about the art of inactivity.When the share price does move ahead,I'll still be holding.

Alfred,watching the share price is a relief mistake.Do the math,if you are growing by 14% compound,you double every five years Now,when the stock market decides to reflect that is another matter.

This is macro stuff.Brexit us,of course,a lose-lose situation economically speaking,a mirage created by the Little Englanders who want to make Britain great again.It's easy to tap into the 'take back control' slogan when you want to appeal to the disaffected and disenchanted,the 'fight back' brigade.Ask them what they're fighting against and you'll get disparate answers.What's this got to do with DCC? Not much,but a crash -out Brexit will push up costs,increase the cost of business and sap investment.

These have been in the portfolio ,originally at 18 euros,before moving to the LSE.Over the years,I've continued to add,another 10 K today(euro minus stamp duty of 1%).1.9% dividend,(although it's much more on the original holding),growth rate of 20% plus ,a juggernaut of synergistic acquisitions ( try saying that while sucking a gobstopper!)and just starting to branch out in the US.

They've lots of markets to grow in ,ie US,they've done 250 deals,taking other guys over,they have the firepower to do a billion take over(or lots of smaller ones).What's not to like? Apart from razor thin margins and weather related stuff.

However,when the market insists on giving away stuff for half nothing,I insist on loading up
