                           Transaction in Own Shares

DMGT ("the Company") announces that it purchased on 1 September 2014, through
Numis Securities Ltd, 21,727 A Ordinary Non-Voting shares (A Shares) at an
average price of £8.7302.

The lowest price paid was £8.6750 and the highest price paid was £8.7650.

The shares were purchased pursuant to the Company's share buy-back programme
announced on 22 November 2012 and in accordance with the authority granted by
shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting on 5 February 2014.

Following the above purchase, the Company holds 23,573,464 A Shares as treasury
shares. The total number of A Shares in issue (excluding shares held as
treasury shares) is 350,393,093.

Cumulative purchases to date under the buy-back programme amount to
approximately £98.9 million. This figure includes commission and stamp duty.
