29/7/2013 20:49 | Loverat, mixed imo... it definitely isn't good news for Cupid... but then again, how many people watch this programme? Probably 90% of Cupid users will not even know this programme is on! Also the websites being mentioned - are they being sold off or still with Cupid? | knigel
29/7/2013 20:46 | Just turned on the programme. Has any evidence been produced or is it just statements from 'uncover' people who have worked for them? | loverat

29/7/2013 16:24 | Great,I shall place my buy order several pennies above. | j777j
29/7/2013 16:24 | Very capital intensive business, where the company pays through the nose to achieve higher revenue. But revenue and profit are two different things. The growth in profit growth is actually slowing if you pay attention to year on year figures on the "consolidated income table". | report_reader
29/7/2013 16:16 | MMs will mark down tomorrow and stops will be triggered. Could see 50p! | lennonsalive
29/7/2013 16:09 | if the prog is bad we could see 40p here by my reckonsing | dewtrader
29/7/2013 16:06 | The allegations are six months old. Hardly news. If the other imbecile poster actually had read any of the results he would have seen that uniform dating.com and the other niche businesses are roaring ahead. Again a shorter is using inaccurate and out dated information to spread his lies. | j777j
29/7/2013 15:19 | So no apparent statement on the fresh allegations from CUP. | robotface
29/7/2013 14:51 | They have sold off all the good growing bits and left a pile of chaff And the buyer hasnt even paid cash but given an IOU. Stinks. | dewtrader
29/7/2013 14:40 | If uniform dating and amour.com are fast growing, why are their Google searches in continual decline (despite all the increased marketing spend they flagged up with the profit warning)? For Uniform Dating Google Trends see here: For amour.com see here: | daofs
29/7/2013 13:34 | Well you keep saying that, but what exactly is Cupid plc? It was benaughty.com flirt.com etc, whih represented nearly two thirds of the total business in revenue terms, but they have sold that off for £43 million. The Cupid.com site,is not actually where their growth or majority of revenues have been.Remember also that they bought that business for £4.6 million in September 2010. The Uniform dating.com and amour.com are the fast growing businesses. The next generation of sites being more social discovery and geo location, such as canoodle.com.Yolo.co Cupid owns a large portfolio of individual sites.Shorters are basing their information looking in the rear view mirror. I only hope they don't drive their prius's in the same way. | j777j
29/7/2013 12:14 | @J777J: You're right the online dating industry probably isn't going anywhere, but Cupid might be judging by it's dodgy doings. I'm glad I sold this one long ago, too many questions and not enough answers with this company. | report_reader
29/7/2013 11:58 | WIll there be a big write off on the sharesin treasury? | druinsky
29/7/2013 09:21 | Go look at some of the other dating sites. btw the gobal industry is put at something like $2 billion a year.It is not going away. | j777j
29/7/2013 09:19 | Who are the 'seedier' side of the industry then?! Bottom line: if a company won't recognise your repeat requests to cancel a recurring subscription then that is theft in my opinion. | edmondj |
