26/7/2013 08:43 | Anybody with half a brain cell living in a remote area would know 100 replies were fake so wouldn't sign up. | philo124
26/7/2013 08:24 | That's correct and it was blamed on some geographically issue. However, CUPID have an office abroad, where they employee the motivation team and the jorno did her investigation. She has the proof and is willing for it to be looked over. | lennonsalive
26/7/2013 08:20 | I think the journalists set up a profile for bloke on a Scottish Island with about 100 inhabitants. Very quickly he had about 100 responses from women said to be in the neighbourhood. My recollection of what was said. Could be wrong. | bomfin
26/7/2013 08:18 | Just watch this and you can see what the motivation team are all about | lennonsalive
26/7/2013 08:02 | You need to watch this and see how bad this is. In one part of the report, the guy is selling profiles which have childrens photo's on. Disgraceful. Cupid will need to refund all clients back if this is fraud. | lennonsalive

25/7/2013 21:54 | One of the pictures said to be in Britain was a woman in Australia who'd no idea her photo was being used. Another one was that of an actress who'd no idea here photo was being used. My interpretation. If correct. (note the use of the word if) then it's quite shocking. | bomfin

25/7/2013 21:37 | Shall we join and post findings here then? | lennonsalive
25/7/2013 21:15 | Yawn yawn yawn, old new regurgitated! We've heard it all before but audit found no improper conduct from Cupid. Online dating has grown hugely in recent years and will continue to do so for many years to come. If the share price tanks tomorrow I'll be diving in for some more as Cupid are massively undervalued IMHO! | idavidson
25/7/2013 19:59 | Just watched the documentary, "Tainted Love - The Dark Side Of Online Dating" (on BBC Scotland). It will apparently be shown across the whole of the UK on Monday 29th July via Panorama. Cupid were indeed "slaughtered" as were number of other companies & conclusion was that the industry badly needs to be regulated with employees signing confidentiality agreements before being required to create multiple "pseudos" on their respective sites. Brilliant bit where journalist created a profile in an area of Western Isles of Scotland (where there's only 100 residents) and it came back with 100+ hits of women looking for love... LOL! I don't hold (will never hold) but for any shareholders out there, hold onto your tin hats tomorrow. Regards, GHF | glasshalfull
25/7/2013 19:23 | Where can I watch this massacre? Link please..... | lennonsalive

25/7/2013 19:10 | Is this the company that's just been battered on The Scottish News for falsifying profiles? | bomfin

18/7/2013 18:27 | Nice to see tosca fund adding more shares to its holding in cup | pjhutchy
18/7/2013 18:03 | The fact remains that the only buyer for the so called "asset" was a related third party for upfront cash of only ca. £5m. Cupid keeps the risk of the future performance of the sold business, which is most ridiculous for a "sale". The "security" over the sold asset is smoke and mirrors, because if the business does not perform, then sure as hell the buyer will not pay the instalments and the security is worthless because the sold business is worthless. This is so easy to see if you are not a deluded shareholder. The market agrees with my view, since it clearly currently values the future payments to be received at nil. | bubble pricker |
