21/6/2021 15:35 | @hindsight - yes fair enough on stocks, meant CFD & s/bet. And if they cover it, you probably can't short it. | spectoacc
21/6/2021 15:25 | Gary1966, do you use day or GTC on trade selection ? | hindsight
21/6/2021 15:22 | I dont find them too bad on stocks, will add one if ask. Think reduction is mainly in cfds and spreadbetting. What they are the worst for is corporate actions, never get an email about an event , however do undertake them if email in and ask xyz is done | hindsight
20/6/2021 17:47 | IG cover a lot fewer shares than they used to - gone seriously downhill over the past few years IMO. | spectoacc
20/6/2021 16:37 | hindsight, As I said just the closing auction that I miss out on, participate in all the others and AT trades go through regularly at bid prices. | gary1966
20/6/2021 14:33 | Sadly IG & IB not available to ex-Pats. | skyship
20/6/2021 11:38 | My IG orders go into the auction, maybe you need to sign a long form or something gary1966 | hindsight
19/6/2021 13:43 | Hindsight, IG have DMA but close orders off at 16:30 and so don't participate in the final auction I believe from my experience. | gary1966
19/6/2021 12:53 | HS - thnx for that - I have an IDealing a/c, so will investigate. Who is IB? EDIT: Got them - Interactive Brokers... | skyship
19/6/2021 12:13 | IG & IB & idealing all offer orderbook DMA skyship | hindsight
19/6/2021 08:01 | CC - you've got mail... | skyship
18/6/2021 21:03 | A direct access account is requiredMessage me if you require more info | cc2014
18/6/2021 20:44 | ?? --- How does one participate in closing auctions? | skyship
10/6/2021 10:59 | SpectoAcc, depends where see final discount post covid, was ~ -15% on Dec 19 and now ~ -25%. If NAV rises then that to add Any views on Grainger ? | hindsight
09/6/2021 14:15 | Can never make mind up on BREI but the industrial weighting has got me adding again. c.25% discount to a NAV that may well be up again next month. | spectoacc
27/5/2021 16:14 | ...indeed; and SREI pressing 47p again. | skyship
27/5/2021 14:57 | Looking a little better and SLI also getting some support. | essentialinvestor
27/5/2021 09:37 | Cant say ive seen any bargains either. Falls in the property unit trusts for instance that will be selling are not as great as discounts Thing I would like to see, when the dust settles, is the Reit Petites merging. Us shareholders have the power, finding a champion to the start ball rolling the tricky bit | hindsight
27/5/2021 08:56 | Impressive results from PCTN this morning, helped by their 53% Industrial weighting. @AlanPT - I've seen no property bargains out there, buybacks seem preferable when the cheapest thing is the REIT's own shares. | spectoacc
26/5/2021 15:57 | "SLI have been impacted by can pay, won't pay" Ah, thank you, that is something that I hadn't spotted! | alan pt
26/5/2021 14:41 | Alan, SLI have been impacted by can pay, won't pay. Now unless the moratorium continues indefinitely, that will change. An extension beyond end of June would not be surprising, think it's best to factor that in. Neither would I expect all rent payments will be recovered. | essentialinvestor
26/5/2021 14:32 | I don't normally post, but I do read a lot, so I can see that there are some very experienced investors here who like SREI. That puzzles me a little - like SLI, the collection numbers aren't good (at least compared with BREI, EPIC, SERE) I get that the buybacks generate some short/medium term gain, but I find it disappointing that they spend money on that (and on paying a big loan repayment penalty) rather than investing in properties in a depressed market With SLI I take the point that they seem to be favoured as a long term hold and may return to a premium, but that seems less true with SREI Obviously I'm missing something, but I can't work out what it is? Sorry, maybe this belongs on the SREI chat! | alan pt
26/5/2021 10:12 | "Happy to sit in any & all of them. Paid to wait" Exactly; though like you I do switch around a fair bit as ones become fairly/fully valued as others get left behind or find a seller... No longer hold RGL on valuation grounds. Currently holding AIRE, BREI, CLI & (of course) SREI. Missed the BREI sell-off yesterday; but doubled up this morning at 70.2p. | skyship
26/5/2021 08:55 | Happy to sit in any & all of them. Paid to wait, and even if govnt gets away with more restrictions (quietly imposed, now withdrawn), all have shown they can cope. SLI and SREI the picks IMO, thanks to support of buybacks. SLI also nearer to a UKCM/PCTN in that it'll likely go back to par eventually. Got plenty of BREI, BCPT, EPIC, SIR. No RGL, AIRE, AEWU on valuation. | spectoacc
26/5/2021 08:38 | Well, bought into BREI for the first time yesterday - bit of a sell-off across the sector yesterday and it seemed particularly hard hit - nice income share. | mister md |
