21/11/2013 16:43 | Well i've joined you here GHF :)) Can't believe how overlooked and undervalued these are. Only issue is the liquidity which means paying over the odds but IF they progress as per the results a share price double this is on the cards imv .. dyor etc.. | battlebus2
14/11/2013 14:58 | aplogies,damn twitter! your ususally spot on . p. | pyemckay
14/11/2013 14:56 | Pye - Nope, not mixed up but perhaps that's the disadvantage of only 140 characters with a tweet :-) I estimate that CSSG are on a prospective PER of 7 based on assumption that they will achieve PBT of £400k this year. (£400,000/14,866,138 shares in issue = 2.7p EPS) At the mid price of 17.25p that would equate to a PER 6.4 (didn't want to over-egg it in my tweet :-) Before you intimate that I've simply plucked this number out the air, WHI previously forecast £690k PBT or 3.6p EPS for 2014 but reduced this in April 2013 to 2p EPS, with today's positive statement indicating that these reduced forecasts could be viewed conservatively IMHO. "This year we have noticed that the decline in underlying sales from our traditional day to day operations has not only halted but in the case of maintenance revenue we have seen steady growth. In addition, we have seen certain niche market applications coming to fruition. These indicators lead us to be optimistic for the year ahead and indeed this is supported by our results for the first quarter 2014. Having made savings and completed much of the development work, we are looking forward as mentioned previously, to a continued improvement in profits for the year ahead. We hope that our intellectual property developments will mean that Croma Security Systems will benefit from on-going maintenance and licence fees so supporting the continued growth of revenue and margin." --- Only my take. Kind regards, GHF | glasshalfull
14/11/2013 14:14 | per of 7? think your mixed up, would love a pe of 7 | pyemckay
14/11/2013 11:58 | As per my tweet below...these look excellent value down here. @Glasshalfull1: CSSG (Croma Security)-£2.7m cap with shareprice decimated due to previous warning. Good outlook, net cash & positive cashflow. PER 7 #TMFPP Market cap is only £2.6m. Loan note paid off and net cash of £150k, positive cashflow & I reckon will deliver £400k+ PBT this year with potential that the investment into "Fastvein" & "VIPS" could also add to the bottom line. Add into the mix the £3m contract renewal (at improved margins) and these look a great recovery play. Regards, GHF | glasshalfull
14/11/2013 09:25 | Also with about 14.87 million shares any progress should see a good rise in the share price I see the few trades are small sales so perhaps PIs thought the results would be even better | mypension
14/11/2013 09:09 | no idea why share price is down so much over the last few years, progress has been made over that period, just small cap mentality I suppose | dvsfm
14/11/2013 08:51 | DVSFM - any reason why - as you say results okay | mypension
14/11/2013 07:27 | Nice set of results. Shame share price is on its knees. | dvsfm
25/10/2013 23:04 | DM1. Probably because of small number of shares in issue. Any buying has an effect. | geoff80
25/10/2013 22:20 | Anyone know of why the sudden rise in sp? | daisymax1
13/8/2013 13:39 | theres a reasonable rise. More to come? | prokartace
02/8/2013 17:30 | been recruiting in Scotland plenty of staff at mo from home page a while back with a close date end of June so could well hear contract news , bought at 16.49 and 16.6 today . | galacticus
18/6/2013 15:45 | the price here seems reasonable particularly with the recent director buys, any long termers here who can comment on the poor share price? | ashtree2
26/4/2013 17:49 | And what happened to CSSG's offering ??? ...useless, they should use their collision avoidance system to avoid the shareprice hitting the ground. Let's see if it works - lol! | yf23_1
26/4/2013 14:11 | how does it go from this "I am pleased to report the financial results for the six months to 31 December 2012 which demonstrate significant increases in turnover, gross margin and profitability for the enlarged Group." just a few weeks ago (15th March) to a profits warning today? surely they should have said this at the time of the March update. As always the constant falls and selling now become transparent. Why did the board not just get this news out of the way then and so stop that contant share price drip ever since 15th March? | oldtown
26/4/2013 14:06 | Signs of life short lived on the back of today's Profit Warning.... | charmer1_23
26/4/2013 10:05 | Signs of life, New major contract news should be RNS soon? or a proff warning lol? edit | oldtown
15/3/2013 08:59 | It's beginning to look interesting. After acquisition yes, an outright sell but this is only a few months (if that) from the start of a price turn-around. I'd guess there is currently a bit of a stock overhang. The odd tit-bit in results infers more good news to come 'The Board looks forward to updating the market on further contract wins in the near future. ' I now have some and will buy more once the chart goes through 40p, whenever that may be | dusseldorf
