27/9/2011 14:07 | 33% chance of announcement tomorrow. Hope it's not Friday. Friday's are for releasing bad news. | britgoneabroad2
25/9/2011 14:44 | Hopefully another interesting week ahead. Potential for further breakout. Fingers Crossed. | britgoneabroad2
22/9/2011 23:14 | Hi rich2006 The Group expects to announce full results for the twelve months ended 30 June 2011 during the week commencing 26(th) September. They seem to want to keep us guessing saying during the week and on Croma website approximately Friday 30.09.11. Hopefully no negative surprises i agree, the fact they are growing sales in the present climate is impressive the big question is can they keep growing in the present climate? government cut backs will not help but on the other hand recent riots will have created huge opportunities in the security and guarding sector and the market for the finger vein scanner in UK and USA could be huge. The fact that a distribution deal is in place and Croma have teamed up with CSS to distribute FastVein worldwide and develop security software should produce more contracts hopefully like the recent £450,000 contract win. Note CSS have been appointed by Hitachi to distribute its H1 Scanner in the UK and US which incorporates FastVein technology. The potential market size is huge for this truly global product which by the way is easy to scale up and for Croma who receive a fee when others develop products using its world leading technology. So it may not happen next week but Croma in my book as a very bright future and i will be on board for the ride, good luck to all who get on board. Once again AIMHO and DYOR. | barnsey
22/9/2011 19:46 | Barnsey In the latest trading update the company specifically said the 26th september. This was on the 04/08/2011 so not much should of changed to affect this date. However Croma have been unreliable before when it comes to the dates they have specified. So yes could be anytime next week Considering the carnage across the markets this week CMG has been a stellar performer and has held up well but then they are starting from a low base. I just hope there are no negative surprises. | rich2006
22/9/2011 15:58 | Croma website, Prelims Approximate date 30.09.11 Friday. so anytime next week or week after that. | barnsey
22/9/2011 12:47 | The usual, tons of buyers between 2.6 and 2.8p, but now you can buy it for 2.3p the buyers are on strike and the MM's are laughing it back down again... News Monday better be sensational to get this going again. | britgoneabroad2
21/9/2011 12:26 | Hi rich2006 most PI's do do their own research and take research notes with a pinch of salt Correct but most research notes are paid for by the company concerned and for that reason could be a little biased but the research note here was not. Faradayresearch is totally independent and written for private share holders who are willing to pay £345 plus vat and for that reason i took note and consider this there were over six million shares traded yesterday which seems to confirm some took Faraday serious and thanks to them we have a higher share price more holders and a lot more interest in Croma Group, all good in my book. | barnsey
21/9/2011 12:08 | No concern here imo, 800,000 on 20 June 2011 paid from sale proceeds · £200,000 on 30 June 2011 paid from sale proceeds · £120,000 on 20 December 2012 convert to shares? [ higher share price ] · £200,000 on 29 January 2013 as above · £100,000 on 28 February 2013" as above Turnover increased from 7m to 8.5m in difficult financial times so happy with that, the only concern for me is the margin reduction which i feel sure the co will be doing there utmost to improve in this highly competitive market, over to you. | barnsey
21/9/2011 11:25 | Hi rich 2006, The above trading update for this thread is dated 3 September 2007 and the thread in general is woefully out of date still showing avionics website which is now sold off surely you will give me that. Regarding positives i feel they outweigh any negative concerns and for that reason i have taken a long position and as always i add IMHO and DYOR. Would it be possible to spell out the negatives for me just in case i have overlooked any, i am genuinely interested. | barnsey
21/9/2011 10:09 | barnsey Not true "no information at all on Croma" "Many investors do not take the time to do any research". Lots of information on croma including Croma Photobase Biometrics & Identity Management and Croma Vigilant Asset Protection they do have a website full of info and this board does have all the info if peeps want to do some research. most PI's do do their own research and take research notes with a pinch of salt Having said that next weeks update is more likely to be a key driver of the sp's performance and like lots of other aim stocks, CMG is undervalued imo If you have really done your own research you will know that like most companies there are risks and Croma is not exempt from the current financial difficulties and has its own issues which it needs to get sorted. It is no good pointing out what the positives are if you are not going to atleast mention there are negatives. | rich2006
21/9/2011 09:39 | You are entitled to your opinion, but i rarely post on any boards and every article i have posted is in the public domain. I strongly believe in this company and will not be selling my shares for a long time. Many investors do not take the time to do any research and i feel that was the case here as there was only a few posts and no information at all on Croma hence my posts which hopefully some will have found helpful. By the way bookbroker what exactly have you brought to the table, apart from nonsense and bad language, could you enlighten us with some genuine material i note this your first post,no hard feelings but you are wrong about me but good luck to you. | barnsey
21/9/2011 09:01 | Small amount of sellers, now seems a good time for top up then shower and breakfast. | barnsey
21/9/2011 08:52 | Right now with positive news to come and a very exciting future and a share price very much higher the shrewd investor would be adding not selling but alas some are happy with small gains and the m/makers must be short so could be a buying opportunity. | barnsey
21/9/2011 08:42 | Recent interesting articles. For interest CSS Group website who we partner with. | barnsey
20/9/2011 22:12 | Details re fastvein biometric scanners in twelve of HM Prisons at last count. You would expect more to adopt the very successful system in the future. | barnsey
20/9/2011 20:17 | Research a plenty and well worth a read, | barnsey
20/9/2011 19:23 | Sorry, another approach would be for one to cut one's losses as CMG peaks, perhaps towards the end of this week or when result is formally declared next week. Good luck | mel_d1
20/9/2011 19:04 | This is no blue chip to dip in and out. The spread is too high for that. I will see through the trough on the other side of this rise. One approach is when you double your money sell half. I will wait and see. | mel_d1
20/9/2011 18:59 | It's been good day today for Croma, CMG. There has been no news and volume has been high for some reason. It should still head north before it hits the usual saw-tooth pattern! I will sit with it and look for 4p before I hand over half of my holding on this baby. | mel_d1
20/9/2011 16:01 | Hopefully we have found a new level 2.5p to 3p and can move forward from here. Below 2p i believe behind us now let's hope not famous last words?. | barnsey
20/9/2011 13:35 | Clearly this moved up yesterday on research report published which brought this co to the attention of a small amount of investors so for that reason the co do not need to comment, plus the fact that there are few shares in free float which you should all bear in mind before selling because they are hard to buy as i found today placing orders at best which is never ideal. Now valued at 5m and still very much under the radar of most investors and results out next week and hopefully progress on contracts etc this could easy double from here and still look cheap. So in conclusion if your holding you are in at bargain prices so do not let them go cheap like most small cap investors seem to do dyor all imho. | barnsey
20/9/2011 13:04 | When does the company have to say something about rise in share price? | donalc |
