Serious investors waiting until the consolidation has taken place before they buy, IMHO

This arrangement will have been a while in the planning so 1.5p does not seem too bad a price for the placing as it probably represented a slight premium from where the price was when they started out. A bit lower than the price of the last 3 or 4 weeks but I suppose it has to be attractive to lure institutional investors. If the Directors also have a good stake that bodes well too.

It would be great if none of the placing ends up on the open market.

The Independent

Down on AIM, Croma was 28.99 per cent stronger at 2.22p after the security service firm announced that it had won a contract worth £1.15m a year. Investors had to guess as to the identiy of the customer, however, with Croma rather mysteriously saying it was a "a major listed London property group".

Truffle
That was my initial thoughts
But then it was on the front page of their website and imo it does not really warrant an RNS.
They do imo really need to look at gaining more publicity whether it be investor newsletters, brokers notes, investor presentations or on the likes of iball or youtube to name a few.
But then if they cannot stick to their own deadlines, then no amount of good publicity will make up for the uncertainty and unreliability of the board.

oh well i can hope can't i.

Indeed i would prefer it not to be a double top. other formations like :-Rabbit ears or batman signs are supposed to be positives but WTFDIK

As for not seeming positive
We have seen cmg rise before only to fall back after what i would call decent news. ie contract wins etc. So nothing to get overly excited about atm. imo
I am anticipating good results but i do question if the market has already priced it in after the recent decent rally in the share price
As for the finger vein technology, hopefully it will take off big time but until we hear of big contract wins based around it then imo it is just another piece of technology to go along with remote cameras, RFID, biometrics and facial recognition. Good to have in your war chest but will it set the world alight.????????????

As i said before investors should do there own research looking at all the positives/negatives. For me to be helpful i would have to deramp a share i own when it has had a decent rise, just before the full year results are announced and i am not prepared to shoot myself in the foot. I am also not prepared to ramp it up either.

BGA2 They always leave it to the last moment so i Eagerly awaiting an an RNS tomorrow otherwise the BOD at CMG need a good fisting......
again.

Not true
"no information at all on Croma"
"Many investors do not take the time to do any research".

Lots of information on croma including
Croma Photobase Biometrics & Identity Management
and
Croma Vigilant Asset Protection
they do have a website full of info and this board does have all the info if peeps want to do some research.
most PI's do do their own research and take research notes with a pinch of salt

Having said that next weeks update is more likely to be a key driver of the sp's performance and like lots of other aim stocks, CMG is undervalued imo

If you have really done your own research you will know that like most companies there are risks and Croma is not exempt from the current financial difficulties and has its own issues which it needs to get sorted.
It is no good pointing out what the positives are if you are not going to atleast mention there are negatives.

You are entitled to your opinion, but i rarely post on any boards and every
article i have posted is in the public domain.
I strongly believe in this company and will not be selling my shares for a
long time.
Many investors do not take the time to do any research and i feel that was the case here as there was only a few posts and no information at all on Croma
hence my posts which hopefully some will have found helpful.

By the way bookbroker what exactly have you brought to the table, apart from
nonsense and bad language, could you enlighten us with some genuine material i note this your first post,no hard feelings but you are wrong about me but
good luck to you.

Right now with positive news to come and a very exciting future and a share
price very much higher the shrewd investor would be adding not selling but
alas some are happy with small gains and the m/makers must be short so could
be a buying opportunity.

Clearly this moved up yesterday on research report published which brought
this co to the attention of a small amount of investors so for that reason
the co do not need to comment, plus the fact that there are few shares in
free float which you should all bear in mind before selling because they are
hard to buy as i found today placing orders at best which is never ideal.
Now valued at 5m and still very much under the radar of most investors and
results out next week and hopefully progress on contracts etc this could easy
double from here and still look cheap.
So in conclusion if your holding you are in at bargain prices so do not let
them go cheap like most small cap investors seem to do dyor all imho.

Croma Group, CMG, looks attractive from both Macro and Micro angle. The Macro investor looks at the general state of the economy and asks the question: Will the sector this company is in benefit over the medium term? Well Croma is in Security of premises and much more. It has a software division providing services in this area. With the current level of slow growth in the economy, high umemployments and the like businesses need to shore up their security and survailance.
The Micro investor, known as surveyor (The Macro guys are referred to as geoghraphers. Warren Buffett comes under Surveyor category and George Soros is the Geographer type), the surveyor looks at the numbers on a company, sales, profit, cash flow and the likes, Croma, CMG, in my view is looking better and better in the recent months that I have started looking at it.
Besides, it claims it has outstripped management expectation in this half of the year and the results are out next week, we will see. In my view it has been a buy for sometimes. I went in at 1.35p and 1.9p, I thought I might share my views on this low cap, family-like-run business. But please do your own homework on it. And see if the fundamentals of the company are ok. Only consider it if you are happy with it. I find the London Stock Exchange site and ADVFN sites pretty good for some fact findings. Good luck
