Simons & Co. Limited (the Company) (LSE: 64IG) announces today that it has requested the UK Listing Authority (the "UKLA") to cancel the listing of all of its cumulative preference shares of GBP1 each (LSE: 64IG) listed on the standard listing segment of the Official List of the UKLA ("Official List") and admitted to trading on London Stock Exchange plc's main market for listed securities with effect from the opening of the market on 15 June 2015.
The Company believes that, given that the limited liquidity of the preference shares, the costs and administrative burden of maintaining the listing and admission to trading are disproportionate to the benefits thereof.
Accordingly, the last day of dealings in the Company's cumulative preference shares of GBP1 each (LSE: 64IG) on London Stock Exchange plc's main market for listed securities will be 12 June 2015.
