CPL Resources plc ("CPL" or "the Company")

Notification of Directors Interests

CPL was today informed of the following dealings by the following directors.

Anne Heraty, chief executive, today disposed of 5,000,000 Ordinary Shares of
nominal value Euro0.10 each at a price of Euro3.75 per share. Following this
transaction Ms. Heraty is beneficially interested in 14,907,764 Ordinary Shares
representing 40.42% of the existing issued share capital of the Company. This is
exclusive of the interests of her husband, Paul Carroll, which remain unchanged.

John Hennessy, non-executive chairman, today disposed of 500,000 Ordinary Shares
of nominal value Euro0.10 each at a price of Euro3.75 per share. Following this
transaction Mr. Hennessy is beneficially interested in 125,000 Ordinary Shares
representing 0.33% of the existing issued share capital of the Company.

Garret Roche, non-executive director, today disposed of 60,000 Ordinary Shares
of nominal value Euro0.10 each (allotted to him pursuant to an exercise of options
today with an exercise price of Euro0.10 each) at a price of Euro3.75 per share.
Following this transaction Mr. Roche is beneficially interested in 13,912
Ordinary Shares representing 0.04% of the existing issued share capital of the
Company.
