LONDON--PTTEP Africa Investment Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of PTT Exploration & Production PCL (PTTEP.TH), said Tuesday that Cove Energy PLC (COV.LN) shareholders who collectively own 91.4% of the company have accepted PTT's offer to buy the company, adding that as a result the offer has become unconditional as to acceptances.
MAIN FACTS:
-Has received valid acceptances from Cove Shareholders in respect of 448,624,418 shares
-PTT expects that the Mozambique condition will be satisfied shortly
-Cove shares closed at 238 pence in London valuing the company at GBP1.2 billion.
