dunno, but there is a meeting today.....so we may find out before the weekend. |
Does anyone know how long it will take Planet Aquisitions to complete the buy-out and pay us for our shares? |
hit walked away probably because the did a deal with the chorion board, to let the board buy it cheap at 430p, then sell to hit the bits they do not want.
Anyway what will happen will happen, more money to invest in another soon.

Vassily, don't know if you hold ERT, but I'd sell if I were you! It must be a real dog of a company (management-wise) to have behaved so poorly.
HIT left the table a full week before their deadline, once they new, for whatever reason, they weren't going to buy.
ERT ,left it right to the the last moment, because once again they were too embarrassed to admit that the management didn't have the ability to to do a deal and get their hands on a much better company. (nothing to do with needing time to assess etc)
Most peeps new all along that ERT wouldn't do a deal (as a COR shareholder I wish they had!). That's why the market collapsed the price after HIT walked away.
Anyway, all the best. |
This is good news for ERT holders. V |
Can't understand people selling at 425p |
oh well 425p it is! |
if i was ER i would leave it right until the end of the day to ensure no one else puts in an offer over theirs, also ensure not over bidding either, 450p my target for end of chorion story, was hoping for 500p but most unrealistic now.

Seems as though ER have lost interest. Still time I suppose.
Another 24 hours will reveal all. |

Ref 3963 - Sweenoid. I think £4.30 is best we'll get - if anyone was going to buy and split the IPR portfolio up and sell it piecemeal, what would they get for the bits & pieces and who would buy what anyway ? OW |
Two large tranche's of shares bought by 3i in last couple of days. No doubt helping Planet secure the company on their terms! |
Goldmine: Don't you mean Ali/3i (Planet Acquisitions) increase the offer for Chorion? I'm not sure ERT want this at 4.65. ERT is focused on children and the legacy authors might be a distraction for this growth company. Maxibrit2: It's a Spanner. |
Does that mean that a bidder would also have to increase their bid from the £4.65 or so that would have been required.
If so, if a bidder was about to announce at £4.65 - that is a bit of a spanner in the works isn't it ?

Chorion increase offer to £4.30 Now why would they do that? |
STILL HERE STILL HOLDING AND STILL EXPECTING THE MBO TO BE OUT-TRUMPED .
Mr Men was a massive acquisition by COR and has not yet earned it's keep-that is for 2006-2007
the fit for HIT and ER is so good it's untrue and I can't believe due dilligence has overturned any slelentons-there is obv this potential poison pill with the Agatha Christie estate...however I expect this would be sold on quickly when and if any bif materializes-only just over a week for ER to make their minds up !
