22/5/2024 06:14 | The end of May date is for local GSA not main one which is still expected during big June! | ![]() blueblood
21/5/2024 22:51 | The end of May GSA anticipated date is not set in stone but a best endeavours target and relates to the domestic deal only, rather then the more lucrative international deal. But they may manage to seal the deal as anticipated. Although I wonder if the present position with Coro not having a quorate BOD has any impact on Conrad closing the deal? As I understand it, in the position Coro finds itself, the last standing director will be appointing the additional director or directors on a temporary basis - to be ratified by shareholders at the earliest opportunity. But the vote not to extend James Parson's term of office was clearly organised and I wonder if the orchestrators had a wider plan in mind? I am keeping a beady eye out for any developments and proposals. | ![]() odillon
21/5/2024 20:55 | Hi, not that I know of. I was thinking in terms of both the GSA and the FID coming in before the end of June. If the GSA slips over into early June, but we get the FID before the end of that month, I'll take that. | ![]() the sage
21/5/2024 20:28 | GSA expected by the end of may according to Conrad or has that slipped again. | ![]() 10owen
21/5/2024 17:38 | Less than six weeks until the end of June, by which time we are expecting the GSA and the FID. I would hope that we would have a board of directors in place by then, and also a direction in which way the company intend to invest our share of the spoils. It could prove to be an eventful six weeks. | ![]() the sage
21/5/2024 15:50 | It's not just a NED it is the main director/driver of the future shape of the company that they need to recruit & I'm not too sure who is doing that recruiting? | ![]() begorrah88
21/5/2024 15:20 | Wonder when we will hear about the suspension being lifted? You would think it wouldn’t take too long to appoint another NED. | ![]() rafboy
13/5/2024 14:15 | Well, the rotor blades are still turning in the video at the top of the opening page of the company website, so I see that as a positive. | ![]() odillon
07/5/2024 19:58 | Thanks Sage, Yes I agree, Michael Carrington comes across as Genuine, Motivated, Professional and Competent. | ![]() jason90
07/5/2024 13:51 | I think you're unquestionably right on that one @nithbank | ![]() jason90
07/5/2024 12:40 | As long as the director isn't named Tom. | nithbank
07/5/2024 12:25 | A year ago we had James Parsons, Marco Fumagalli, Tom Richardson, Michael Carrington, Stephen Birrell and Naheed Memon. James we know about, Marco was at the meeting but had stood down, Tom is a non-executive director and both Stephen and Naheed stood down as non-executives earlier this year. This just leaves us with Michael Carrington (I sat next to Michael at the meeting, he's a very nice man). Once a CEO is appointed, and the shares are trading again, he or she will no doubt appoint other directors. Who is appointed and when we get to know their area of expertise, we'll know in which direction the company intends to take. After paying off our debts, there should be a large amount of money to invest in any situation the company deems appropriate. GLA. | ![]() the sage
07/5/2024 11:57 | Yes this is very important and valuable but the news is lost in all the board drama. I am still very glad to see it. The value in these project is massive but makes little difference with all the other things going on. | ![]() pavey ark
07/5/2024 10:56 | We need a proper Director and CEO who sees the future of Coro at the heart of their interests. There is such a massive opportunity here to capitalise on, if done the right way. Ducks are being lined up, and I think Michael Carrington has had a major part to play in that so far. We need a CEO and Director combination ready to take on the substantial renewables opportunity laid before them in the growing ASEAN sector. Surely Michael Carrington should be up for a Director's Nomination? | ![]() jason90
07/5/2024 10:06 | Coro Energy PLC, the South East Asian energy company with a natural gas and clean energy portfolio, announces that its application for a Wind Energy Service Contract ("WESC") in respect of a second area of interest for the onshore Oslob Wind Power Project, previously announced by the Company on 11 March 2024, has now been approved by the Philippines Department of Energy. This WESC is Coro's second contract and neighbours the Company's first project site and would be in respect of an additional installed capacity of circa 100MW. The recently installed and operational 130 metre meteorological mast installed by the Company in the Philippines will also serve this second project in gathering data and determining the wind resource available. | ![]() odillon
07/5/2024 10:03 | Presumably the success of the latest application adds value to the company, which is welcome at a time dealing in the share is suspended. | ![]() odillon
07/5/2024 08:45 | It is encouraging to see some good news the successful application. | ![]() odillon

07/5/2024 08:18 | How long we expecting new directors to take? Couple of months? | ![]() blueblood
03/5/2024 16:25 | FWIW, my broker, Jarvis, values suspended stocks, for whatever reason, as zero! | steelwatch
03/5/2024 16:10 | I know it doesn't matter because we are suspended but Interactive Investor shows this as 0.00068 and 0.0016. It makes a difference to me as they use the lower figure to value my portfolio which affects how much my trading limit will be. Probably doing me a favour as my last 2 T trades in other stocks didn't go too well!! | ![]() digger2779
