remember cash is always handy to have and short term inflation doesnt make much difference if you spend it wislely.keep your powder dry for real opportunities as they may present.the markets getting cheap...qu is now...will it get cheaper in sept or is this the correction atb

My out-and-out guess is the war in Ukraine will continue for a while yet with Putin consolidating the whole Donbass region by October.
The mining gloom is set to continue whilst the battles are ongoing.
Whether the small-cap explorers and gold miners continue to decline is another matter.
Under old parallels it's set to remain gloomy until 2025-26 - hopefully, I'm wrong.

Possibly there will be a stale mate with NATO building strongly in the West and Russia in the East. An uneasy peace for the next 30 years.

Probably time to pick a few extra shares here and there and average down quite sharply.

Potash is excluded from the above.
