Wyld Networks receives purchase order of SEK 300,000 for its satellite IoT solution Wyld Connect
Wyld Networks and C.Towers sign a contract for SEK 300,000 to deploy sensor to satellite connected IoT solutions for renewable energy across Brazil. The delivered solution will enable the collection of data and monitoring of infrastructure assets in remote locations.
C.Towers is a Brazilian infrastructure solutions and services company that develops projects based on wind and solar energy, including the supply of solar panels and generator sets and the manufacture, supply, and assembly of towers.

Wyld’s sensor to satellite technology, powered by Eutelsat's satellite network, will provide wireless coverage in areas outside of current cellular or terrestrial capabilities. Together, C.Towers and Wyld Networks will bring satellite IoT capabilities to the rapidly expanding renewable energy sector in Brazil.

The current purchase order is for Wyld Connect IoT modules, the hardware that enables satellite connectivity. Recurring revenue in the form of data plans will follow.

“As the fifth largest country in the world, Brazil has significant challenges when it comes to connectivity for the internet of things,” says Armando Netto, General Manager IoT of C.Towers. “Wyld Networks engineers have developed a solution that allows for 100% coverage for Brazil which is both critical for and demanded by our customers.”

“Wyld are pleased to announce the receipt of this purchase order for Wyld Connect IoT modules,” says Alastair Williamson, CEO of Wyld Networks. “Our partnership with C.Towers will bring massive deployment of satellite IoT to the rapidly growing renewable energy sector in Brazil.”
