Interesting tweet

#CRCL @CorcelPLC technical team were thrilled to join the Onshore #Kwanza Basin Workshop in January 2024.

The aim was to introduce the value proposition of the eFTG project to a broader audience & convey the project's value proposition for future well planning purposes.

T14 6 weeks of testing

Must be flowing v well

Next week is 6 weeks of testing

T04 produced at peak flow 12580bopd from just 8m

T14 an offset well of T04 has 80m of reservoir potential to test in optimal position on the crest of the structure

The results will be used for FDP and to quickly move into production via an EPS

The FDP may also include the re entry of the historic 7 producing wells to quickly ramp up production as they believe the field has recharged since shut , horizontal drilling and sidetracks have been mentioned in all RNS updates

Something to think about...

Once T14 completed and as per July presentation, expectation is for horizontal drilling from the vertical wellbore.

Horizontal drilling will access more of the reservoir , we know the reservoir is upto 120m thick but the area of closure has been mapped to 3400 acres , so if Google is correct this is an area of 3709m x 3709m

Please review the following link ,item C , increase the length of payzone

This will ramp up production, multiple times that of vertical well produces

As per timeframes , first oil is a quick turnaround expected in the next 6 months

Once into production, we will be cash generating !

No more dilution to shareholders

from the current mkt cap there is huge upside to the forecasted aggressive production numbers , the plan looks to quickly drain the reservoir by production from horizontal drilling...

Item B on the below link

Potentially could ramp production multiple times

Forecast for corcel to be producing net 000's bopd

Very cash generative

think they'll also re-enter the old producing wells, sidetrack from the vertical wellbores to drill horizontal wells, these to have multiple branches off to intersect the reservoir to create numerous production lines , 2 or 3 per well

to significantly ramp up production from the historic 7 producing wells as well as the 2 new wells just drilled

"Something to think about.... 8m vertical well, peak production 12,580bopd....

Horizontal drilling to access thousands of metres of reservoir....what flow rates ?

Something to think about ...

Something to think about

"The Tobias field constituted 12 historic vertical wells, and Corcel and the operator believe that a revised interpretation of the existing structures along with the application of modern drilling and completion technology, including potentially adding sidetracks or horizontal drilling to the Field Development Plan ("FDP") will lead to a higher Original Oil in Place ("OOIP") figure recognized in the reactivated field and subsequently more producible field resource potential."

T04- 8m reservoir peak production 12,580bopd from vertical well

T14 - 80m reservoir to test

....

Look at other rivals and what they're valued at, AXL, ZPHR, EDR (it may have been bought out now), etc etc. None of those companies that I mention there have assets on the scale of Tobias, its a large field, 3400 acres. So on strong flow rates I'd expect us to perhaps go to £30-50m. If Tobias turns out as large as we hope it will (11.7mmbbls+ net) then we may move towards mid cap (we could be looking at net 20mmbbls+ for the two fields). Tobias and Galinda with modern drilling could get us well on our way, look at AET's cap for example they're now within touching distance of £100m. Tobias and Galinda and perhaps one more discovery, who knows, lets wait and see just how big Tobias is.

Some interesting posts from LSE by Ed:

The July '23 presentation on Page 13 does show that seismic is planned from Q1 24 through to Q3 24 and drilling from Q4 '24 into 2025. That is for KON-12. For KON-16 seismic is to start in Q2 this year and continue into 2025 without mention of drilling.

So my take on that is that the short seismic campaign on KON-12 and closely followed by drilling late this year is highly likely to be Galinda. That's probably the pre-drill definition of Galinda. They did mention somewhere about the preparatory work they did on Tobias before the two wells. My guess is this is the similar situation for the Galinda redevelopment. This may change when we get our next updated presentation, which I would imagine will come after the flow rates and the forward plan for Tobias is known. So fingers crossed drilling Galinda around Q4 this year, hopefully by then Tobias will be in production. Two field developments ongoing would make CRCL busy bees and to think these assets were picked up for a snip.

As long as there are investors such as Mark and Awhoabamba I think it is fair to say that you will never go hungry. So that is good.

Morning "PharmaKarma".

Yes I do :)

Good game good game.

It's all about SOTPs at the end of the day. You can ALWAYS rely on them at this end of the market and if it's not you it will be someone else. Do you remember Brainless Hoodlums? They were a proper crew! Malign have simply filled a void.
