I will rename disclosed later as burying some skeletons in the closet.
Just state what the expenses are.
Exceptions appear to be a recurring theme.

While the dividend will be paid out of the next half, if you took this as a liability - it would be a small loss. Still it will take almost £300k from the next figures, which hopeful will not suffer any serious trade loss. Imagine though if the on-line company that ordered £2m worth of units failed.

"This dividend equates to £289,308 and has not been included as a liability at 30 April 2015."

Still the trend is very positive but I think it will take another six/twelve months to really motor.

Could someone please tell me what the £1m disclosed elsewhere charge is for?
Is it goodwill?

On paper The Small Dividends Trust Company that made the recent investment has made a very substantial profit in little over one month. I wonder if they will take some profit but ensure they will not drop their stake below the 7% mark, to avoid the need for a RNS.

Better than expected - well done this should really set the pace and it now becomes clear why the company were able to raise the fresh funds at 13.25p a short time ago. The prospects are once again outstanding imo. DYOR.

Todays RNS is a huge jump in their holding, as the stock moves up slightly now I expect we will see a squeeze and a big jump on the next bit of good news. I expect they are in it for the long term with a holding of that size in CRU.

That is the 1.75m shares when fund raising that was done, all to this investment fund.

Valhamos - The difference this time is that lessons will have been learnt from the fiasco and not only has the company secured these large orders that will impact profits within six months but with the deal that was struck for the transfer of equipment together with the sales pipeline and entrance into the health market, the company has opened the door to mega growth going forward imo.

Your average now looks like the bargain of the decade and to boot you have received dividends that we all expect to flow and grow.

As you said earlier, we look forward to hearing the outlook from Joe and the results will no doubt be better than most were expecting, as I presume that the providers of the new funds that paid a premium to the share price as it was when agreed, must have had confidential access to the info I expect.

We might also find a few funds looking to invest once the accounts and outlook have been published and chewed over, that should in turn provide further traction to the share price by the end of July.

At this rate one cannot discount any other good news any day either.

Although it was a different cup of tea, if you take a look what occurred with MUL some years ago and how the share price rocketed, I expect to see something of the like here in a matter of time.

clocktower - well done on your recent purchases. Having orginally bought at 6p my last top up was not well timed in early 2013 at 15p just before a profit warning put the recovery on hold for a while (average 10.5p). At that time before the profit warning I was expecting CRU to be able to double within a year / 18 months and now similar to you I think we are at that stage again.

Nice one Valhamos, :-) I have to admit Joe has pulled it off but as luck would have it so have I as when SCDT increased their stake (April 2015), I started to accumulate, and am delighted I did as I think this has a long long way to go over the next few years, as profits and growth kicks in. I am sure most will agree, and I would not be surprised to see the stock well over 25p within six months and heading a lot higher.

Good to see the positive newsflow over the last week.

It is also encouraging that the sentiment on this board seems decidedly less pessimistic than of late :) - apologies but I couldn't help juxtaposing the above:

"Twelve months down the line we can be assured the share price will rocket bearing in mind all the new equipment that will be on-line, success breeds success."

with an earlier comment:

"Will any investment in CRU now just be dead money sitting?, as the prospects for any real growth in the share price must be very limited indeed. " (#273 16 Feb 2015)

Looking forward to the results and outlook in a few weeks time.

Sensational, the products the on-line company tested must be proving outstanding for this extra order to have come on the heels of the first. How many other on-line distribution companies will follow suit? Hopefully the equipment that was purchased for these products a while ago can handle the increasing production. Good news for the staff at Haydock, they may soon be on 24hr shifts.

Twelve months down the line we can be assured the share price will rocket bearing in mind all the new equipment that will be on-line, success breeds success.

OK so they are just starting to produce, but as this is a long term contract, how much is the contract actually worth in total? If it's the £8m mentioned some time ago, that's 25% right there in the first week.
Seems to me the total might be a lot more....

198,926 traded at 16.24 yesterday @ 14.20 made me wonder if Daniel Stewart & Co have effectively been placing this new stock in the market at above the issue price, and if that is the case there will be a lot to clear before we move upwards I assume.

Looks a good deal. At least I was spot on with the placing. Good news that they didn't need to raise the full acquisition price. Tends to indicate that their working capital position has eased a tad.

It's taken a long long long time to shake loose the media products but I think this might have clinched it. Results are going to be messy and take shine off things but underlying story is sound. This is now a strong buy

As you say not bad value. Taking what Charo says possible profit(i.e.£1.85m) which is pretty much what I thought and a market cap under £9m, this is a bit silly. As you say clocktower, don't think market/people have worked out the step change

It seems to me that most posters on this thread are currently fully invested as well as myself, as I would have expected to see some further purchases based on the very good news. All I see at present is the 5000 buy so far.

charo, based on the figures you suggest it is likely that JG will ensure there is a good dividend growth on the back of the six six months figures.
