It is understandable on a day like this, when many things seem to be flying, that weak holders get bored/tempted to sell and chase rising stocks.

Coolabi has a beta of 0.04, so its moves show virtually no correlation to up and down days on the wider market; hence no reason to expect big advances just because the market rises.

I still think end of September interims will be key for the patient, unless there is major news before then.

Moosh: you are probably doing the right thing adding on weakness - though no advice intended. I would have done the same had I not got the exposure to COO that I am presently satisfied with.

Titan Announces The Art of Hammer Book
Source: Shock Till You Drop July 29, 2010

Those titans at Titan are at it again, following up "Hammer Glamour" and "The Hammer Story" with "The Art of Hammer" - the first ever collection of rare and iconic Hammer film posters, with nearly 300 examples drawn from Hammer's own archive and private collections from around the world.

Hammer is almost as well known for the way it promoted its films as for the films themselves. The legendary British production company supported each new release with eye-catching posters that have become classics of their kind.

Licensed by Coolabi, fully authorized by Hammer Films Productions Ltd and annotated by acclaimed historian Marcus Hearn, "The Art of Hammer" is a testament to the company's pioneering mastery of film promotion, and a celebration of movie art at its best!

The book will be available October 26 for $29.95. While you wait for its release, check out the Titan Blog for the Top 10 best Hammer poster taglines.

Hi Andy. Noted. Possibly the outage is to put things right well and truly, but I am not that hopeful. Keep in contact here and I'll share more information, depending on how things develop. There are one or two contingency plans if needed.

Coolabi partners with Buxton Brewery

by Katie Roberts

New deal will see firm produce a range of ales based on Hammer films.

The Buxton Brewery Company will produce three Hammer-themed beers for the European market.

Coffin Ale, a very pale ale, Dracula's Desire, a deep, blood-red bitter, and the very strong, full-bodied IPA, Curse Of Frankenstein, will be available in bottles and on draught from September.

Each will have a label or beer pump clip illustrated with a classic film poster image from the library of Hammer House of Horror films.

The draught versions of the beers will initially be available to pubs as guest ales in the area supplied by the brewery, an area that takes in the Peak District and major population centres including Manchester, Sheffield, Nottingham, Derby, Birmingham, Stafford, Stoke and Macclesfield.

The company is also targeting key markets in the rest of the country through its third party supply chain, and in particular London.

The bottled beers will be sold through off-licences and supermarkets and online through independent retailers and the soon-to-be launched www.hammerhouseofbeer.com website. Bottles and casks will also be made available to interested outlets throughout Europe.

The beers will make one of their first appearances at the annual Bram Stoker International Film Festival in Yorkshire, from October 14th to 17th. The festival will feature an extensive Hammer exhibition with Hammer memorabilia, posters, props and costumes as well as the new range of beers.

Geoff Quinn, owner of the Buxton Brewery Company said: "The combination of our own reputation among ale drinkers, a varied selection of beers and strengths and, of course, the high recognition factor and enormous popularity of the Hammer brand promises a strong market for these beers. We are delighted to have had the opportunity to work with Hammer on this project."

Janet Woodward, consultant at Coolabi, adds: "Interest in real ale, microbrewing and craft beers is growing faster than ever, extending the appeal of draught and bottled ales to a wider and younger demographic.

"This is a great market for Hammer to participate in and the Buxton Brewery Company, which offers both reach and a strong reputation for quality, is the ideal partner".

Scarlett & Crimson gift range returns to Boots
by Katie Roberts

Coolabi has announced that the range, designed exclusively for Boots will be back for Christmas 2010.

The range was first launched in September 2009, and this year's line-up has expanded from seven to nine items, and sees a 20 per cent increase in store distribution compared with last year.

Developed by Rub Hammer and Millie Kendall, and designed and manufactured by SLG Beauty, the range is designed as a high-quality, affordable gifting product for teen girls.

The new range includes the My Beauty Collective cosmetics palette, Totally Charmed nail polish collection, and Double Trouble mascara and lip gloss.

The latest retail deal is part of the continuing development of the Scarlett and Crimson brand. Other categories in development in both the US and UK include apparel, perfume, bath and body, gifting and accessories, and stationery.

Anna Hewitt, Coolabi's head of licensing, said: "Last year's exclusive deal with Boots, the UK's leading pharmacy-led health and beauty retailer, was an exciting development that brought the Scarlett & Crimson brand to a wide and very receptive audience.

"We are delighted that Boots has been so enthusiastic in its backing for the brand and expect the Scarlett & Crimson cosmetics range to be an even bigger success in 2010."

Maryann Drennan, assistant buying manager, ladies cosmetic gift, of Boots commented: "We are excited to be listing the Scarlett & Crimson range again following its great success across our stores in 2009.

"SLG Beauty has developed some excellent products that really resonate with our teen consumers and, at stocking filler prices, we are confident of having another successful Christmas period with the brand this year."

Miles Dunkley, joint MD of SLG Beauty added: "SLG Beauty are delighted to continue working together with Boots and Coolabi on the Scarlett & Crimson range, which has resulted in an exciting collection of products, guaranteed to offer something different and exciting to today's discerning young consumer."

FMC: welcome - and it reassuring to hear of someone else who has taken a careful look and liked what they saw. The fundamentals and the developing recovery story do seem convincing, don't they? When there is so little interest it is easy to question one's judgement and wonder whether something is being missed that everyone else can see.

With Coolabi, I am increasingly confident that is not the case - more one of an undiscovered beauty. Let's hope so and that value/growth will out.

Scarlett & Crimson gift range returns to Boots for 2010 Christmas season

Coolabi plc (AIM: COO), the media company focused on the ownership and creative
management of high quality intellectual property assets, announces that Scarlett
& Crimson cosmetics are returning to Boots, the UK's leading pharmacy-led health
and beauty retailer, for Christmas 2010 with more products in more stores.

The cosmetics range has been developed with beauty industry luminaries Ruby
Hammer and Millie Kendall, and designed and manufactured by SLG Beauty under
licence from Coolabi. Boots first stocked an exclusive range of gift sets for
Christmas 2009. Following the strong success of that range, they have reordered
for 2010 but with an all new expanded product range of nine items, from seven
previously, with the number of stores increased by 20% from 2009.

This extension of the winning association with Boots, one of the UK's biggest
high street retailers, is part of the continuing successful development of this
unique brand and is the fifth major deal announced by Coolabi for Scarlett &
Crimson this year. Other categories in development in both the US and UK include
apparel, perfume, bath and body, gifting and accessories.

Jeremy Banks, CEO of Coolabi, commented: "Boots has been enthusiastic in its
backing for the Scarlett & Crimson brand. Last year's exclusive deal was a
strong success. We hope to see this repeated this Christmas when we are back
with an expanded range in even more Boots stores across the UK."

The Scarlet & Crimson brand is jointly owned by Coolabi, with its creator Ged
Backland, with all brand exploitation controlled internationally by Coolabi.

A nice RNS this morning: referring to a repeat and expanded deal with Boots for the Christmas season for its Scarlett & Crimson range.

It is not earth-shattering, but it is a further example of the positivity that seems to be returning to this recovery play.

Whether it kindles any more interest, press coverage, or dare I say it, share price movement, remains to be seen!

I am happy to be patient, nonetheless.
