Yes it is good to see the volume increase. I have made a small contribution to this with a top up today. That’s my lot for a little while, just a matter of waiting now for production to ramp up and of course SWP.

Agree CCR. Possible move on up with market conditions and reports from some of the big II's. Lets hope the G20 goes well too.

Hi arry ,it was brilliant ,extremely moving and thought provoking. One of our group (17 Men) had done a lot of research and organized our trip . We based ourselves in Bayeux and visited the beeches ,monuments and of course ‘resting ‘places for the brave young men . It was so successful we are going to pay our respects to the boys who fought for our freedom in WW1 next year . cheers ccr.

Goldman Predicts Commodities Will Soar in 2019

► G-20 leaders’ summit this week may be ‘catalyst for a rebound’
► Bank sees ‘extremely attractive’ entry point for bets on gains

Commodity bull Goldman Sachs Group Inc. is undaunted by the sell-off in raw materials and is forecasting returns of about 17 percent in the coming months, describing the current situation as unsustainable and touting this week’s G-20 meeting in Buenos Aires as a potential turning point.

“Given the size of dislocations in commodity pricing relative to fundamentals -- with oil now having joined metals in pricing below cost support -- we believe commodities offer an extremely attractive entry point for longs in oil, gold and base,” analysts including Jeffrey Currie said in a report. The note listed its top 10 trade ideas for 2019, including a rebound in Brent as OPEC cuts supply...

Dross - although your case is less badly argued than 12bn's looks like they have close to $4 million in the chest.

I've always argued that it's quite likely the new Lind money will be taken as although operational cash flow is healthy at close to 1000 bopd they do need to CapEx a number of projects and they haven't detailed the costs - for example they need to deal with water cut on SWP and on one of the SD sites.

I know that as a non- shareholder you like to get in a bit of a flap over cash but I prefer to leave the management to LK as he has a proven ability to plan ahead which some don't seem to give him credit for. It was suggested the Placing would obviate the need for the Lind cash but like you I think it's looking a bit tight but terms are such that I'd prefer him to take the Lind money as we've paid the facility fee and the conversion option terms, if exercised, would probably put a smile on the face of most shareholders!

Of course you and I don't know what other plans LK has for the SWP drilling - particularly now that we are closely connected to the rig owners - perhaps the $4 million will be enough if a deferred consideration deal is struck - all will be revealed in due course but I'm sure LK is really appreciative you're doing a bit of worrying for him in the meantime!

Can OPEC+ Halt The Oil Price Slide?

Oil prices continue to plumb new depths, but some analysts think the selloff has gone too far.
Brent prices fell to $62 per barrel by mid-week, hitting nearly a one-year low. The bearish narrative has taken hold in a big way, with rising U.S. shale production, record output from Saudi Arabia, rising inventories and faltering demand growth all combining to drag down crude prices. “The bears still have the oil market firmly in their grip,” Commerzbank said in a note on Thursday. “No end to the downswing is in sight for the foreseeable future.”

But are prices dropping too far, too fast? Some analyst think so. “[T]he oil market sell-off has overshot current and forward fundamentals,” Goldman Sachs wrote in a note on November 20...
