10/1/2018 11:37 | Just finished a 30 minute conversation with Gordon. He was very open and honest and I'm happy to say that we could see each others point of view regarding communication. As you can see via the updated Q&A on the company website, there is a reluctance on the part of the company to give regular production announcements because of the fear of causing volatility to the share price or providing a false impression of what the company is achieving. Similarly, limited communication can have the same results and so there were points to take away on both sides. Before anyone asks, there was no inside information requested or received. I have great confidence in the board and the people on the ground, as I'm sure we all have and trust them to work in the interests of shareholders. Back to painting and decorating. | the guardian

10/1/2018 11:08 | Hi hollyWith regards to my post the other day about comparisons with the old LGO and the 6.9 high with your price $83 a barrel at that time. Can I ask where would you have seen a fair price for them back in the diary and do you think that was all driven on hype sentiment to get to 6.9If you can come up with a figure for the original where it should've been there it will give me a chance to work out where we were to where we are now in comparison and to work out a realistic valuationMany thanks if you can | offerman

10/1/2018 10:26 | I will be talking to Gordon Stein this morning and in line with my points on communication, the company has already changed the Q&A response to communication on the website. I still do not agree totally with their reply but it is clearer than before. | the guardian

10/1/2018 09:26 | Andrew Monk (VSA) on Cerp "First up will be no surprise – Columbus Enery!! This is a great stock with quality management and Rome wasn’t built overnight but f you want to understand just watch their video and Leo Koot explaining how he will perform – plenty more to come from this stock and it will be interesting to watch the other Trinidad plays , Trinity and Touchstone , as they tend to all follow each other But this is one of the most exciting E&P stocks there has been in my 35 year career Yes it is a Buy and is probably my tip for 2018 if I was doing one" | jcgswims
10/1/2018 09:05 | 12bn - knew this old chestnut would be rolled out again - you were looking for evidence that Koot had failed on production and were gutted the end of year figure didn't fit your doom and gloom agenda as you were telling us that new management made no difference - you are the laughing stock now 12bn!!!! | arrynillson
10/1/2018 08:23 | Pity that Cerp don't feel brave enough to give 3 monthly average production numbers as they were happy enough to inform the market of 1 good weeks number! Call me a cynic but I find that suspicious. | 12bn
10/1/2018 01:34 | As far as I’m aware Ross they hold no value at present, as I say its possibly more of a security to cover the loss when moving offices.. if they were issued at a share price of 3p they’d be worth £539,769.24, currently worth £900k to me that’s a bit steep for admin costs (approx 2/3rds of the loan at the time). They haven’t give anything up, as the shares issued at what ever price would stil amount to the same value that LIND would call upon, now it means less shares would be issued, which is already beneficial to their current holding. “escrowed by Lind for at least six months from the date of issue (expected to be 23 September 2017).” Note* at least.. Hence the importance of cashflow positive during Q4 2017 and production above 550bopd (covering oil prices down to $45), which eliminates the risk of default on the loan. It they’re not coming back what value will they hold once released from escrow, when ever that will be? :) It’s all good.. just a different opinion to yours. | garnhiem80
09/1/2018 23:50 | WTI now at $63.5! $63 was a resistance level from 2 years ago so this would appear to be a very significant move. | brasso3
09/1/2018 22:57 | Two points if I may. 1. VSA capital are very confident about Columbus, they are the broker but, they tend to work for good companies. They do not sign up to what they think are wrong-uns. I know for a fact about one miner they turned down. 2. Difficult to understand the pressures on the LNG and oil markets in the States:- We (UK) imported Russian gas from Siberia (at risk of breaking Sanctions) in last few days of December. We have an expanded terminal at Isle of Grain. (Thames Estuary). There is a ship loaded with some of that gas en-route to Boston Mass area, due on 22 January. Cost is many times price of gas in more southerly or western states. But according to The Times they do not have a pipeline system to deliver cheap gas to the conurbations in the north east. Funny old world eh? | uncle john
09/1/2018 19:55 | The original charge had a “non disposable” agreement.. the charge requires the security to be in the name of the lender.. I wouldn’t expect LIND to walk away with the old London offices upon closure of the loan (unless through default, which wouldnt happen). Hence why I said is it possible these shares could be reuturned to the company, they hold no voting rights and can’t be traded. | garnhiem80
09/1/2018 19:27 | Exactly right Nexus If poo goes much higher then bang then crash will come again because it was caused by shale last time and Saudis glut to try crash the yanksAnd Canadian shale. Spirals So steady as she goes . | offerman |
