21/9/2017 10:03 | As LK says, the wells are talking to him....and he understands the language! Good posts Edgein... | sja123

21/9/2017 09:47 | The exciting thing is too its just like the early day for the Eagleford/Austin chaps like the old days on EME. Leo and his team will learn as they go what works best for each of these wells in terms of stimulation and pump. So its a good sign when already he has removed his concerns that he had when he joined CERP and is already beating his expectations. He never believed that 211 would respond the way it has, he was thinking doubling production to about 6bopd, rather than up to 60bopd. Regards, Ed. | edgein
21/9/2017 09:36 | As to these few early wells, no well can sustain pressure by itself over the longer term, but they'll likely settle well above the start off point due to the stimulation. However when the pressure support comes on its a different story. C-sands pressure support has commenced the other programmes for Mayaro etc are likely to be phased in next year imo. As for the Cedros and the 200mmbbls targets, well they're deeper and if they contain those volumes of recoverable oil they'll be over pressured, perhaps even have GOR, i.e. gas drive and would be expected to give flow rates similar to Vene of around 300-1700bopd but as Leo said these are likely to be stacked targets with Mayaro or similar, GM, Crus, Herrera all targets in each well. Regards, Ed. | edgein
21/9/2017 09:31 | Offerman good morning to you too chap, I reckon that it'll be pretty much be indefinitely, he's not just cleaning up the wells, he's cleaning up the reservoir near the wells too. These wells, some of them, have been in production over 50 years. Probably all sorts of emulsions and silt in the reservoir near the perfs. It sounds like LK has nailed the stimulation of the wells, one going from 2-3bopd up to 60bopd. LK believes that it can be sustained at 20-40bopd over the long term and re-stimulated if necessary. that's where the competitive advantage comes in. LK with his team believe they've cracked this asset and with the consistency of the first batch of workovers it looks as if they have. Once he's proven communication between wells in comes the waterflood across the field. That's where you get the potential of increasing pressure potential back to pre-depletion levels and LK is the expert at that with his experience in the North Sea. I wouldn't be surprised if the bulk of wells on the field start producing more after stimulation, clean up and pressure support. I also wouldn't be surprised if more of that 1bn bbls in place became recoverable, even though 60mmbbls+ recoverable is an excellent target to go for. Also I'm sure everyone here is also even more keen to find out what's in the Herrera below Goudron as LK said there's a very large light oil field charging Goudron with oil. He also told Zak Mir that there's oil pretty much everywhere in T&T. I guess that's what happens when your assets lie in the Venezuela basin. As he said in the presentation we've the same geology as Vene. Its basically like sound oil without the hype without the massive cap but with much better assets. Regards, Ed. | edgein
21/9/2017 09:30 | Some sells showing as buys this morning. If they narrowed the effin spread, the nature of deals would be more apparent. Seems that our recent climb was helped by day traders who have now run out of patience. It will be good to see more new investors arriving because Leo's presentation shows that this is an investors share, not an in, out, shake it all about share like most found on AIM. My money is here for the next 3-5 years. | the guardian
21/9/2017 09:29 | Who gives a damn about KOD? 12bn is such a bore! And a broken record. Spouting nonsense again that Lind will be repaid in shares. | northpole2

21/9/2017 09:22 | Edgein1 Sep '17 - 11:23 - 3567 of 3608 4 0 Dingo, Agreed, maiden resource will address our tiny cap and that's just the start, the company is sitting on $m of Chinese money waiting for the rains to clear and the drilling to continue. The discoveries are pretty much open in all directions ready to continue to expand. Regards, Ed. Edgein5 Sep '17 - 09:28 - 3568 of 3608 2 0 Market is surprisingly quiet on these at the moment given what lies ahead and frankly could appear at any time. The company said earlier in the year they were looking to get a maiden resource out in 2017. PREM for example got their maiden resource out on just 2500m of drilling, KOD to date has done over twice that at slightly higher average grade too. More than enough drilling data to establish a maiden resource figure that can be expanded upon when drilling shortly recommences. A few bargain hunters appear from time to time even though the company has now greater upside than it did when it hit 0.6p early this year. Regards, Ed. cyrilsneer15 Sep '17 - 09:37 - 3569 of 3608 1 0 Edgein, people are missing the trick here also. KODs cut off grade is 1% PREMS is 0.5%. cyrilsneer15 Sep '17 - 09:42 - 3570 of 3608 1 0 Also KOD are only reporting on minimum 5m thick sections, most other lithium stocks are reporting 2m minimum. DYOR but in my opinion it's only a matter of time before people take notice.//////Listen to your very own edge on kod. | 12bn

21/9/2017 09:18 | This has been a pump n dump, only clowns like Thicko North will hold now as it drops and drops. CERP loses £11000 EVERY DAY (£4m p/a),no wonder it wants to pay Lind with shares. This will be a share price death spiral. | 12bn
21/9/2017 09:18 | Morning Ed,One question in the back of my mind. When these wheels get enhanced and optimised how long are we looking to keep these sustained flows for with the pump? Has there been any indication as to when they would start reducing again? | offerman |
