But it will go up TG , is only a short time in grand scheme of things it'll stay low . I think March update should progress us a little higher with spAs for bopd is anyone's guess Hoping for 650 from further Goudron work and if waterflood too then 700-750 but I might be being to optimistic as I was last time around I got it totally wrong at Christmas with my 10p target and 800-850 bopd target then. So hopefully I'm not going OTT again What are everyone else expections for BOPD for end of March just for bitbof fun to pass the time

From my recollection a single licence is being pursued as apposed to two original licences.. maybe why it’s complex in negotiating.

At least we have an experienced pro on the job, making the most out of the renegotiations.

Rossannan & 12bn - I've explained the issue regarding deep drilling previously - although CERP had licences in Cedros they didn't have deep drilling authority ( below 7000 feet ) which BOLT did have and BOLT had the areas NR wanted to drill on hence the deal with BOLT which cost considerable cash and potentially more on completion. The ARKeX survey played a valuable role in site selection. New boy Tony tells us he is positioning CERP to renegotiate with BOLT as the deal was not finalised and Tony believes if this is done the terms will reflect current WTI rather than $100 prevailing originally.

My info is based on following LGO for many years but doubters might like to view rns dated 09/07/2015 & 12/10/2015 - anyone can access these - no excuse for ignorance!

How do you know I haven't been here before? Just haven't played on this site until recently. I invested in LGO many years ago and know the story very well, have been watching events and only recently come back. I would imagine CERP will look at Cedros and BOLT in the same light... they are in the same area of Trinidad and the company will probably want to secure the BOLT transaction before committing any new funds to Cedros. imo

I can't understand why anyone would want to sell at this price.

We need some operational news to get the price moving - Bolt, waterflood, where the money is going etc.

rossannan,if northpole2 had been here as long as we have, then he would know that Cerp/lgo have the mining rights to a lot of the Cedros Peninsular besides the Bolt agreement areas, they just haven't drilled it because they know of the considerable costs and considerable risks involved.

Tony Hawkins mentioned that there’s a huge STOIIP.. do we know any figures or other details? Probably won’t until his work is done!

Rossannan - ' Future drilling is a different matter and in the case of Cedros has nothing to do with that contract ' - really Rosie - the deal includes licences to deep drill which CERP do not have and was almost certainly the reason NR was prepared to pay so much money - note also that NR had the results of the ArKex survey and he knew the previous deep drill got a result before abandonment so had probably already decided the likely site for deep drilling on BOLT controlled land.

Down she goes! Plenty of talk on the rampers only thread about a reduction in the number of 'free float' shares, one point that they miss is what happens when/if a discounted placing is done? Another point is will Cerp drill a shallow well or deep well in the SW Peninsular? Will they fund it with bottle tops or a discounted placing?

Good morning offer,

Yes freefloat is definitely shrinking and it'll get much much tighter if they make additional oil discoveries below Bonasse and SWP that's for sure! That'll build excitement towards that campaign. That new legal chap is grinding out the fine details of the contract as we wait.

Regards,
Ed.

12bn - following your own logic won't Schroders be in again to mop up as they won't want the share price to fall?
