02/7/2009 06:07 | any takeover will be at a higher price than the current share price .. no one would agree to sell for lower??? also the eastern european market is mixed - some good and growing (poland) and some not so good and shrinking (czech etc), the company are in a strong position with cash in the bank and a number of suitors, not many companies are in that position at the moment. | moreforus
02/7/2009 03:46 | I think what is happening is that one of the international chains (Starbucks, Republic etc) is deciding between going into these markets in a bigger way or buying COF But, with the economies in which COF operates and its history of selling coffee in premium surroundings at a loss year after year in semi-worthless currencies, it will only want to pay around 12p a share, hence the warning about the takeover coming in at a premium | mryesyes
30/6/2009 07:53 | morning mark up? cant see any nes - has this been tipped? kbc on bid...plus 2 mms on 20.5 | moreforus

25/6/2009 12:56 | again buys coming in - and sells going out? J M Finn buy 25,000 at 19.9p / Artemis sell 250,000 at 20p - talk about backwardation! Maybe the Instis have more clout that the long-standing traditional brokers. Will we break out above the handle - who knows? Will the discussions fizzle out? Will they be consummated at a knock-down price with RW kept on a nice earn out for 3 years? Anyone got any instincts about an exit valuation for COH? Extending brokers' pre-tax (adjusted) profits as approximate to cashflow over the next 10 years 2009 0.05m forecast 2010 0.56m forecast + 1020% 2011 1.39m forecast + 135% 2012 2.78m + 100% 2013 + 50% 2014 + 33% 2015 + 25% 2016 + 15% 2017 + 10% 2018 + 5% (ex growth) and applying a 10% discount factor, divided by 129.21m shares in issue, you get a Present Value of 35p per share. But you're not going to get that in this market, unless it's paid at least 50% in the doubtful currency of the acquirer's shares. Wish I sold (with 20X20 hindsight) at 40p last year (or better still, the year before, then bought at 25p 6 months later, then sold again at 40p - in my dreams!) Does the chart foretell strong resistance at 25p, last year's inter-peak low? At an average cost of 11.8p, I'll make a profit - just wish I hadn't had my money locked up for free all this time. I would accept 25p in cash, up to 35p for 50/50 cash and shares, I guess? Will I get this? Help wanted. Nobody knows anything! | donaferentes

23/6/2009 10:32 | ta jaws.. i;ve seen this pattern before on cdn - news of bid - price spikes .. funnily enough negotiations of this nature can take months or turn sour but the price always starts to climb after some profit taking, looks good especially as it's a small cap sell off day... | moreforus

13/6/2009 17:47 | you guys make me laugh-- the amount of empassioned ramping i normally see on a small cap bb's when it goes up 50% about targets that are 5 - 10 times above the current share price .. firstly i dont have a clue - i bought in friday, all i can say is that the company does not need cash to expand has an interested buyer or buyers - last time i saw this was on CDN - which still has not had a bidder, the price has gone from 15p to 60p friday with bid talk at 80p... even if its 30p here then it's gonna be more than i paid friday! | moreforus
