hmm. I wouldn't get your hopes up.
Problem is that today is the day the have to file accounts. If it were all 'not our fault, gov' then they would have held the agm and explained the position. And all this $1 for the assets stuff. Until the accounts are before us, we do not have a clue what is happening.

A brief update as i have been in contact with Fossett

Dear Mark,

I am sorry it has taken a couple of days to get back to you but I was out of station.

We are still working with the bank to obtain the Release. The bank is now under new senior management which has delayed issues somewhat , and has been very frustrating. We are currently working with our lawyers to put agreements in place that will enable the company to maximize cash and release funds back to the minority shareholders once the Release has been granted.

I am very sorry that this is taking so long .It is a very delicate situation, however we are doing out utmost the get this resolved.

I will let you know as soon as we have a further update, which I hope will not be too far away.

Hi All,

Just being doing a little research into our mysterious board of directors.

Our Non Exec Chairman, one Ian Salter, is also on the board of our newest stock exchange - Plus Markets Group.

Link:

He's about one third of the way down. Now, I live abroad and would have trouble calling Mr Salter and asking him what is going on; but I guess more than one of you guys/gals will not suffer this restraint. Doubtless he's resigned by now, but should still know exactly what happened.

Would love to hear the results....

wishful thinking mg! Can a company just delist and then completely ignore shareholders--doesn't it have a duty to keep us informed?

Not looked in here for a while. Sorry you guys are still waiting for any form of comm's from the company....but it now looks like a very lost cause. :(

BTW, why has the graph above registered a 'tick-up' recently?

my shares are in nominee ac---don't think I'm able to put on any pressure. Also I share the disappointment that Scrutable has moved on.

This guy is a non-exec at CCH:

time we started to put a bit of pressure on. forcing the cancelled agm would be a start.

ah just seen this. email will be going shortly to maccalondon..
Cheers for that article RM, seems pretty murky.
I'm not sure there is much we can do until the accounts are filed, sometime before 31/7/08

Although we might be able to force them to hold an agm, which they have not done.

Al

PS cant help but notice the boy SCRUTABLE is nowhere to be seen. I believe he had a stake of 30000 shares at least. praps we should try and get him on board, or at least find out if he wishes to wash his hands of us.

Hmm...looks from that snippit that there might have been more going on other than just them using a short term loan for long term purposes.

Perhaps, with hindsight, a company showinng 3761% growth and PER still 4.5 should have been seen as a bit of a risk!

I think an action group is a good idea.

I have been trying to get news and have been advised that CCH will be making an announcement shortly; whatever that means?!

Ordinarily I prefer a more aggressive approach and generally favour to engage in a legal advance, but in this instance lack any knowledge as to the merits of this strategy.

I will get a legal option today.

If anyone wishes to exchange contact details you are welcome to email me at carl@taxiadv.com
and we can at least compile a list for now.

I think one of our great difficulties might be the fact that the bulk of the company is actually the German part. I can't recall if it's a subsidiary or what, but the bit that got sold off (or didn't - we never did find out, did we?) was the German part, which was the bulk of the business.

I would imagine failing to lodge accounts is an offence?

I was about to say to you moormoney, Don't exaggerate - the company wasn't sold for £1.....it was $1!

ok. online complaint form at the companies investigation bureau:

spoke to a gent there who said only a couple of paragraphs on complaint form- allege which offence(s) have been committed- no more. No guarantees they'll investigate.
Right, so any ideas anyone? Might need to trawl the Law to find out about specific offences. Apparently not staying in touch is not an offence.
The fatc the AGM was cancelled could be a starter, but apparently we can legally enforce them to hold one, so that might not be enough to warrant any further enquiries. This may be quite time consuming. Possible we could get them on the inappropriate use of funds (long term/short term debacle)
??
