12/2/2015 17:53 | AFE's AIM listing cancelled | philjh
25/10/2014 20:25 | Please note the following thread which may be of interest: "THE REVERSE TAKEOVERS & SHELLS THREAD (RTO)" | hedgehog 100
14/5/2014 15:18 | Seems CGG bought another 2.5M AFE shares yesterday taking their holding to just over 11%. I've still no idea what the plan is here with AFE and CGG but with the proposed further fund raising, perhaps something might be in the pipeline. | skirbell
09/4/2014 16:11 | This could move faster than AFE | hyper al
17/9/2013 13:12 | spread's narrowed on a £350 buy!! | philjh
29/8/2013 15:42 | Don't forget another share issue pending at 65p. Shares fairly priced imo shame about the spread | knigel
29/8/2013 14:21 | AFE up 80% today | philjh
29/8/2013 10:00 | Back down to earth with a bump. Asset value (cash/shares including investment in AFE) looks to be about £0.3m. However there's -£0.3m debt in there also, so net asset value is more like nil. | bam bam rubble
28/8/2013 16:18 | Spread closed slightly but still too wide to consider even a token investment | code677
28/8/2013 16:12 | Reading up on this, looks like the African Eagle investment was so CGG didn't go in the trapdoor after the 18m window on its investment policy (Feb 2012-July 2013). The newest director has a private mining outfit on the go, assume the plan is to RTO that in here. | bam bam rubble
28/8/2013 15:28 | WTF are these fellas up to buying 11% of african eagle's tanzanian assets for £117k. they have very little else in the way of assets and have mark parker recently added to the board. | excellance
28/8/2013 15:12 | AFE is a shell and set for a delist. Looks like money down the drain there. | bam bam rubble
28/8/2013 14:23 | Spread too wide here for anything other than beer money | code677
26/7/2013 14:40 | Still strong buying over at AFE. | hyper al
25/7/2013 12:33 | Anyone want to start a new thread for this one, as it is no longer a cash shell! | hyper al
25/7/2013 12:15 | mmmm...interesting here, so got me some. Seems ok to buy just at the mo'....with Barcs. f | fillipe
25/7/2013 11:48 | This is going to move very fast. They have their first investment. I was going to wait so I could buy in my ISA on 5 Aug, but think it would be a bit late by then. | hyper al
25/7/2013 11:47 | I now have my small stake in this one. What made me laugh is that I was told I could buy 100k !!! That's some 25% ! | hyper al
25/7/2013 11:36 | Buyers are back. No wonder after the AFE discounted investment yesterday | knigel
30/6/2013 23:39 | KNIGEL The spread is huge, but not really a surprise. The problem with investing in companies like this at an early stage is dilution, as an investor I would really need to have funds available for ongoing placings or loans to maintain my percentage in the company, unfortunatly I'm not in that position, but I will certainly be watching this one. I see enormous potential. I'm not going to post on here until I have a position, which unfortunatly won't be for a while. GLA | hyper al
30/6/2013 23:04 | Hyper Al, I've got a holding here and hoping for some news on the investment(s) front soon - the share price spread is a bit off-putting though | knigel
30/6/2013 22:58 | I note Mark Parker is a Non-executive Director. I have a lot of respect for that guy! | hyper al
05/2/2013 19:34 | Hopefully North! | knigel
05/2/2013 19:08 | I bought into this on Friday for no other reason than I found a couple of hundred quid in my trading account and fancied a gamble. I could have stuck it on a horse or down the casino but thought this might at least offer longer term entertainment. Now that it is actually starting to do something, I might actually have to start treating it like an investment and look at its prospects. It's hardly going to allow me to retire but at the moment, I've no idea where this is going.... | skirbell |
