can't buy any volume on line, looks like buyers IMO have soaked up all stock....so I'm holding on for a quid....80p broker target (which one was that? Cantors? can't remember DYOR) and PH 60p will both be upped IMO on the back of this and recent trading upgrades....

oops, didn't realise I had pressed twice, apologies!

Hefty volume again on the off, not sure why still no a sub 10 p/e now with pension issues being resolved and sight of yield in 2017....DYOR etc but I think the PH 60p target is too conservative....IMO

thanks miti, combine that with the recent 80p+ note and we are with earnings upgrades getting some real momentum IMO....I agree, hefty, but in line with what they have on the balance sheet no? Otherwise PH would be downgrading!

takes away risk, allows a yield to begin to be paid, AND as you say with bond yields rising, the annual payment may reduce as well as liabilities reduce in theory....

either way, am holding on for much much more in the NY...

DYOR etc

My view is the settlement is quite hefty...more than I would have liked. Makes quite a dent in cash reserves. But it removes the uncertainty so that's a good thing .
With bond yields moving in our direction, things were looking rosey so in some ways having to pay off a lot of this deficit at this stage is a pity . Not sure how it affects us going forward , if bond yields keep rising but I'd imagine , its good news but possibly not as good if the settlement had been delayed?

Peels have upgraded price target from 44p to 60p this am on back of this news.

I think, DYOR, that as the bulk payments "include" payments made since 1/1/16 that the outcome is less than they had on BS at last RNS I can see in summer, so good news, as well as now divis can be paid, risk gone of regulator action etc....may be wrong, but would be interested in views out there please so IMO and DYOR!!!

Thing that gets me looking at these today is why would you sell? Look at the trades, when blocks of shares are being bought at 46p at 500,000 shares a time, quarter of a million pound? That's not day trading that's someone building a very significant stake, they either believe this is going to trade a lot higher, not 5 or 10 percent but a lot higher or they are buying stake to take over, there is repeated large buys and at the end of the day this is a small specialist company dyor imho

Yes that took all of twenty minutes to get into profit, I know QS I just can't do with people who don't have a clue about me saying stuff leave them
To it anyway onwards and upwards here, I was gonna get into these a little while back but made decisions on others instead looks like could have done just as well here, still looks cheap to me at these levels
