Looking at the volume and share price movement it is quite obvious all the hot air has gone out of this again all too quickly.

Cluff Natural Resources, which holds assets on the Southern North Sea gas basin, jumped as it signed an exclusivity agreement with an unnamed major oil and gas company.

It hopes the mystery company will eventually help Cluff drill two of the sites and get the oil flowing. Shares jumped by 12.4 per cent, or 0.28p, to 2.5p.

Kristini indeed let's hope we get something away and the can is just not being kicked further down the road.

I think the price action we have noticed today suggests folk not going to get too excited by this news until the new year. Shame as I was hoping a fairer value closer to 4p on that news might have been achieved today.

This news is the most significant to date imo

News within 8 weeks on one or both licenses

Funded until end of Q2 2019

What I like about it is the farm ins are hedged, if one doesn’t come in the other one still may

I think Spirit Energy maybe looking at one of the licenses due to their close proximity
