Placing was in November and only 72mil shares. As you can see from price action placing overhang has cleared.

Further to the announcement made earlier today, Cluff Natural Resources Plc, the AIM quoted natural resources investing company, is pleased to announce a placing (the "Placing") and subscription (the "Subscription") (together the "Placing and Subscription") of a total of 72,000,000 new ordinary shares to raise a total of £1.8 million (before expenses) in two tranches. All new ordinary shares are to be issued at a price of 2.5 pence per new ordinary share (the "Placing and Subscription Price").

On the CNR website I hadn't noticed 'Latest developments' several articles on recent North Sea developments with companies like ; BP, Statoil and Ineos, quoted. The latter has been buying up North Sea assets. I don't consider Parkmead a likely farmee, however Ineos is a much more likely contender and mentioned indirectly in the article on the CNR site

Has been rising from the lows lately, but not much compare with the peers, there is volume and ready
for a breakout. Positive level 2 of 3 v 1 on a very narrow spread.

It's always a punt, however confident or desperate you are, though some good consistent buying! MM's appear to be trying to hold price under 3p.

31k is a big amount for one to buy!! No one would buy that for a punt no way!! Expect a nice rise with news early next week!!!
