Tend to agree with Ross. £1-2 range. £2 more likely than £1. Could be much higher however.

ROI will still have the asset, so its not as if its a loss amount for them.

Should be a good few weeks and see the next resistant point at 36p now. Then 50p.

It could break these before the result.

I have 20% of holding that looking to offload. But as we are now moving higher I will hold these for a little longer.

OOC is the holy grail, immediate cash payment of agreed amount. Share price would shoot to something like 90% of offer price, instantly on announcement. No messing around chasing assets should indonesians decide to play hardball.

Yes they do, they have already set aside money for litigation/claims they are expecting. Don't forget they can go an resell the CHL licenses for a lot more. £2-3 is certainly not unrealistic, its reasonable for both parties. That's what negotiation is all about. Time will tell. OOC is on cards imho. dyor.

Very well put ross. They also did a deal recently with Dodgy Dave for £bn's in loans.

But do they have that sort of money to cough up? I doubt it.

For info for those new to this thread with reference to the post above:

Current market cap (at 27p) - £39.83mln (say £40mln)
Current Fx £1:$1.30, so $1.3bln ~ £1bln and with interest $1.6bln ~ £1.23bln

so the full claim is in the region of 25-30x the current sp

All down to the fogery claim and if an OOC settlement comes forward the amount proposed by the ROI and agreed with DQ

Ross, i cant believe you had the neck to post that! Think it, keep it to yourself, yes of course but to put such a comment in print for future reference is silly, no absurd.

The original claim of $1.3bn included interest. We now at this point have further interest charges to add on which is roughly $1.6bn total, your regular piece of "it will probably be a further 18months to 2 years before the case is concluded" well if thats is the case make it $1.8bn. With the extra interest, So you are happy with a figure of $80m.

ROI must wish they had a darling like you to negotiate with. I will not, and have not set myself a figure to put in print but i will say now, it will not, will not be, $80m.
Do not forget the realistic threat made by D.Q. if they question $1.3bn total, a reapraisel will be made which could top $2bn plus interest. That eye watering sum is real, i am afraid yours belong in disney world. Imho.

rossaman,

what %age of the claim do you feel is "realistic" in terms of offered by ROI and accepted by DQ??

It was trading at £1.50 once upon a time. So it should be above this figure.

Impossible to judge, but it must be a decent payout if we win. Don't think it would be unreasonable to expect this. However I am used to disappointment !!!

Is £2- £3 unrealistic? I don't believe it is.

Think we might all be happy with £2-3

I would be on the first flight to somewhere amazing for a few months.

The share price rose by 20-30 daily for 3 days before jurisdiction decision if i recall so this is just a little nudge.

If we have the 1v1 of active market makers, then the one typically on the offer must be running low as they seem to be jumping recently (hence the increase in spread).
