pat, DW,

I'm sure CHL don't want the mine back! Current coal prices make it unattractive.

And no I wouldn't trust the ROI either.

After the OXS judgement though, there are no slam dunks....

its really strange the way ROI have had a hissy fit and stop engaging in the tribunal. One can only interpret that they will lose the authenticity case..

Someone need to tell ROI you cant do this in the real world, you may bully companies domestically, on the international stage you cant get away with it..

chl have spent $57m on those licenses, it blantant theft...

I don't think Churchill want the mine back. Would you have trust in the relationship after this? They may target another coal miner with all their cash if successful. Someone like GCM maybe?

I would go for a cash settlement and continued ownership of the mine, because CHL still need a business of some sort going forward and this mine is black gold.

Sadly this poster does not know what current thermal coal prices are, nor the amount of capex required to construct a conveyor or other system to transport the coal from the mine to the port (60 KM), and that port has yet to be funded and constructed! And then there's the power station that needs to be constructed to power the conveyor belt system!

In this market I sincerely doubt it is fundable, and this is why I raise the question that is it possible the mine could be returned to CHL in a settlement?

Obviously there would have to be some expenses charged too, but if the mine is returned, the bulk of the claim would be gone.

And CHL would have to fund a project that isn't economic at current prices, IMO.

The way I look at investment with CHL for what it's worth. I ask myself this question. Would I be more peeeed off if I thought it too risky to invest so choose not to. Then the news turns in favour of CHL and potential monetary gains chance of a decade lost. Or, would I be more peeeed off if I thought it risky to invest but decide to gamble 50-50 and invest anyway. Then news turns against CHL and I lose my whole investment. Regardless of the discussions on here past and present, nobody can predict the outcome, as much as most of us want a positive outcome for CHL. This depends on so many factors and boils down to the court rooms decision with regards to the evidence. And even if the evidence looks good for CHL it is still not a certain outcome. Any newcomers should be very careful with this. Not wanting to sway for or against but really be sure you are willing to lose your entire investment. I hope CHL do win. But read lots and then read some more on the history and law behind this. Then go with your gut. Hopefully by this time next year at the worst the outcome will be clear. IMVHO.

Possibly - or perhaps just a reflection that the patterns of investment / trading on AIM mean that CHL spikes mightily on news and drifts off in the absence of same. (have a look at the chart and compare it with RNS from the company).

But no worry - the last few weeks say to me that ROI are sunk. Actions always speak louder than words - and ROI have not been behaving in a manner consistent with a sovereign state acting in good faith and honouring their international obligations.

CHL are de-risked now IMVHO. What the market does with the share price of CHL between now and the endgame is interesting, but won't change what is coming to ROI. It might take a while, but it's coming. No doubt some traders will make money along the way, and some will lose money. The way I see it traders are akin to those betting on what happens within a football match eg first scorer, next goal etc etc. But personally I'm betting on who will end up winners, and the actings of ROI as confirmed in the last few RNS suggest strongly that it will be CHL.

It's being shorted imo - look at the 10k, 20k sells. Also, the ownership of the mine is not on the table as far as CHL is concerned - they want compensation for losing the licences.

See a list of churchill headlines here.
All old or from rns .
If you type into them they all have the same author : marketer60

This guy sounds like a poster out for his own benefit not a journalist.
He is posting on scammy site and other connected sites picking it up.

we dont need all this as the truth as it happens suffices ?

A cash lump sum plus a world class mine, thats what i call a good deal.

Pat,

Yes the latest ramp has finished now, it will go quiet until the next ramp starts when it falls to the bottom of the trading range.

You can almost time it by the posts of a certain person.

When clicking to read more it takes you to the same site that carried the scammy news yesterday and said error request and has been removed.
I even opened a free account to be able to read

I will google sudiman churchill just in case

edit : I have found nothing new today or in the last month.
Strangely the story comes up on a web search but not a news search so perhaps not a registered news source.
