Thanks mstaub,

I read the article earlier on and it is sympathetic to Cardinal Resources. It emphasises Rob Bensh's decision to leave Ukraine. The Cardinal story however, has almost as many twists and turns as the Regal story, there is a lot going on.

I have a reliable Ukrainian source who forwarded me the RPT information this afternoon and I couldn't believe it!!!!

I'm quite sure Mr. Timis will have something else up his sleeve, Regal style of course...

Hope to re-join the RPT thread in a few months time when things have calmed down, both here and there :-)

Thanks for your comments, they're much appreciated!

Anything can and does happen in Ukraine.

Despite our immediate difficulties, I am still confident that Rob Bensh can pull a rather large rabbit out of his stetson, long term.

I will be pleased when the Framework Agreement is signed, and I will be even more pleased if all the resolutions are passed at the EGM on 30th November ;-)

Hi not too sure whether this has been posted before but just got this email from Hoodless:

RE: Cardinal Resources plc – Capital Reorganisation

The Company is proposing a Capital Reorganisation whereby:

Each issued Ordinary Share will be sub-divided into one New Ordinary Share of 1p and one Deferred Share of 19p
Each unissued Ordinary Share will be subdivided into 20 New Ordinary Shares of 1p each

Following the Sub-division, the Company proposes to effect a reduction of the Company’s share capital by the cancellation of the Deferred Shares.

Each Shareholder will hold the same number of New Ordinary Shares as they did Ordinary Shares. A Shareholder’s pro rata holding of Ordinary Shares will not be affected by the creation of the Deferred Shares. The Deferred Shares have very limited rights and are therefore effectively valueless.

I have a feeling KBC is the on loan person especially as this the first time the outed themselves on the deal and the previous MND one the never said a word, Fishy?!

is see shell taking stakes in rpt's ukraine fields - highlights the potential of this zone further - come on rob, pull out a rabbit of some sort even if u have sold out cdl's assets.

so it seems it will most probably de-list. and we hope it re-lists asap yes ? is it that simple and therefore nothing to major to worry about ? the rules say you have to de-list but then u can re-list just like that ? assume this process will cost and i find it annoying accordingly that cdl couldnt just get a nomad. my mate may be wrong xena but maybe not and why won't anyone take this on ?

Yes all well and good for JKX holders. CDL holders don't look like they will have Ukraine assets.

Natalia talks of the Sale and Purchase Agreement - so looks like Kuwait are getting involved.

Obviously Xena probably has the best inside line here - but Natalia is pretty clear.

At least if they get dispensation from AIM then it may help CDL holders.
