Subscription and Admission to Official List
Cleantech Building Materials plc (the "Company") announces the successful subscription for 72,750,000 new ordinary shares of GBP0.01 each in the Company (the "Subscription") by institutional and other investors and the admission of its entire share capital, being 77,750,000 ordinary shares of GBP0.01 each ("Ordinary Shares"), to the Official List of the UKLA (by way of a standard listing under Chapter 14 of the UKLA's Listing Rules) and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's main market for listed securities.
The Company has raised gross proceeds of GBP727,500 under the Subscription.
The Company is a newly-formed special purpose acquisition vehicle incorporated in England and Wales in December 2014 and which will seek to identify an acquisition in the cleantech building materials sector. The Directors (Richard Blakesley and Jeff Jaffrey) believe there are significant opportunities for growth in this sector and hope to identify and complete an acquisition which will generate significant returns for shareholders in the medium term.
Admission
It is expected that Admission will become effective and dealings in the Ordinary Shares on the London Stock Exchange's main market for listed securities will commence at 8.00 a.m. today under the ticker symbol 'CBM'.

Copies of the Prospectus published by the Company in connection with Admission will be published on the Company's website at http://www.cleantechbuildingmaterials.com/investor-information.html and hard copies will also be available at the registered office of the Company, 29 Welbeck Street, London W1G 8DA.
