Clean Diesel Technologies Announcement:


Effective 26 September, 2003 Clean Diesel Technologies, Inc. completed the
previously announced private placement financing in the amount of U.S. $3.9
Million issuing to investors 2,395,597 common shares, par U.S.$0.05, at
U.S.$1.63 per share and warrants for a term of 10 years to purchase a total of
195,240 common shares also at U.S.$1.63 per share. As part of the financing,
Derek R. Gray a director and non-executive chairman of the Company purchased
46,000 shares and acquired warrants to purchase an additional 3,749 shares.


Application to AIM has been made for the 2,395,597 new common shares which are
being issued in reliance on Regulation S under the US securities Act for
offshore private placements.  The warrants are unlisted.
