Welcome on board. A little patience will be needed here, we're close to historic lows and strong support but also a narrowing trading range with resistance circa 45p... any close above that should see us push back towards previous recent highs imo.

Have just purchased 5000@41.75. All purchases at that price showing as sells on HL.

Yes I noted Woodford had been buying here, now there's a man who needs to rebuild. Good bet here though, his multi year holds could see his found bag a serious capital gain from these prices.

A favourable outcome:

Worth noting that Woodford actually added a few last week, when in general he's been reducing as under pressure from redemptions etc.

That's my 15000 at 40.99, been looking through the RNSs and at this price I think we're about 20% short of fair value. Let's see where this goes :)

I'm guessing it's the capital intensive out of its network. I know they've a load of funding in place but I think they need to get further along their trajectory towards break even before this will rebase I suspect much closer to £1.

It is worth noting that the recent bid for Gigaclear and its 15,000 customers values the company at £270m. Given that CityFibre is fairly near to break-even (give or take a year!) its a wonder why it is rated so poorly compared to the unquoted loss-maker.

Gigaclear's customer base is entirely retail. CityFibre's customer base is significantly more diverse with large wholesale and business enterprise segments. Retail support is high cost maintenance - particularly in the telecoms and IT industry. The retail service element with City Fibre is borne by Vodafone and others.

Looks like we've broken a falling trend. I don't expect any sudden move up but we ought to wobble back towards circa 52p, a previous support level imo.

Amazing they do actually go up as well.
Think someone said today that U.K. needs to improve mobile network.

Great choice for next mega fibre city. They already have the framework and kit in place in Aberdeen, full backing of the Council and will be generating new income by 2019.40 million investment funded from previous investors, looking for this to test historic lows just south of 40 before buying back in.

Hmm, not much support on the chart, could tickle 40-42 before the usual vertical bounce.

No placing needed this year, they're funded to the hilt. This is general market sentiment trading nothing more.Question will be one of revenue growth against capex, but great contract wins recently in addition to VOD deal.

Just bought back in at 52p, been watching since the VOD deal announced. Chart suggests some support at 48-50 with possible rise to 60 to test ceiling of trading range... imo dyor.

No rights issue required looking at the balance sheet. As the management indicated the recent equity raise covers the first 5 cities by 2019 (on a cost basis and considering the MK announcement: 5x40mn=£200mn)
