05/4/2006 12:18 | Well I hold CRC and ACU, so I'm happy whoever wins ;-) | simon54
05/4/2006 11:58 | Thanks pinhead - then do the same for WTI lol :-)) | wassapper
05/4/2006 11:57 | Wassapper I never did thank you for tipping me onto CRC, great call. As everyone can see I've done some significant research on CRC & are very confident on the long term future of this company. Before investing in any share you should always DYOR! | pinhead3
05/4/2006 11:52 | Did someone say that Ashley James was a mining expert? Like us all he can do his analysis and make some good calls. He also makes some bad calls as the rest of us do. I have been in CRC since September for the reasons we are now seeing. If he had done a proper analysis, he would not be negative about this stock. Likewise, I am not negative about his current favourite, ACU. Great stock and if you like copper worth a shot at the right price. But don't knock CRC. As I have said before, if you want to repeat the CRC story (and we have many chapters to go) look at WTI. Yes I hold it and I want people to buy the stock to help liquidity. That does not make the story any less compelling IMO. | wassapper
05/4/2006 11:43 | It looks like some of the institutions who took the placement are selling into the strength today hence all the buys & no movement.Look for the large sell trades at the end of the day. There doesn't appear to a hurry to offload otherwise the price would be significantly down. Positive sign, profit taking on a 81% rise is not a surprise! I'm here for the long term, the action will really hot up in May & November. £2+ by the year end. DYOR | pinhead3
05/4/2006 11:39 | Ashley seems to be obsessed with one mine in one country & posting inaccurate information. I suggest you ignore his posts & DYOR. '8,000,000 x 55.00p cash =£4.40M less huge broker fees say £4m less cash burn for flooded mine=NOTHING' - WRONG there are more assets in DRC than Kisenda as well as assets in the Phillipines & Namibia. 'Location=No Infrastructure, ie roads, railways, electricity,' - WRONG there is extensive working infrastructure at Kinsenda. read the company RNS 'Dodgy Management, arms dealers and other low life more interested in selling guns than copper (ie investing in CRC is aiding and abetting Congo Genocide IMHO)' WRONG- Forrest do not run CRC they have a 5% share in MMK the company that owns the DRC assets & 40% share in CRC. GA Forrest & GA Forrest are non executive directors only. 'Intrinsic value nothing.' OBSURD & WRONG - CRC is not a one mine, one country company! Independant report has but a $143M NPV on the Kinsenda mine which is more than the current sp! 'Market maker action walk price up to 110p Offer place 55.00p stock with muppets walk price down again to cash per share to get shares back again.' - WRONG - The shares are already placed & were available to sell from 4th April onwards. '£4m cash= roughly 10.00p per share.' WRONG- last accounts CRC had $9.3m plus the £4m cash from the placing. 'Projects Value=Zero IMHO' The IMHO say it all Ashley has not done enough research to even realise that CRC have assets in 3 different countries! Ask youself this why would any banks lend a company in the DRC any money to finance the Kinsenda project if it had no value? Don't forget the remainder of the borrowings for the project ($27m+) will be supplied by International banks, which will have been factored into the 67% IRR. | pinhead3

05/4/2006 11:23 | >Ashley James. Not the opinion of a friend of mine who has visited the mine on 2 occasions.Perhaps you too should visit the site and then you might be better informed. | ltinvestor

05/4/2006 10:03 | Ash, You are beginning to sound tired and emotional here. This is clearly clouding your judgement. We are all here to make money from our investments. Quite frankly I do not give a toss about the morality of minority shareholders in CRC, only whether I can make a profit out of investing here. I doubt you are any different, once the hyperbole and posturing is stripped aside. | drewz
05/4/2006 09:52 | Where is the profit taking,? why the wide spread.. someone does not want this to go up today, however we are now getting buyers at 105. | shesheny
05/4/2006 09:45 | Deleted can not be bothered, if you can not see multiple projects in multiple countries is a warning sign, then I doubt you can see much at all. | mr ashley james
05/4/2006 09:23 | Profit taking - that's all. Nothing unusual. | nicksig
05/4/2006 09:20 | Oliver Cromwell The known laws apply in a free and open market. This is the world ruled by MM's who are there to make money and not an open market. Strange things do happen. | e-boffin
05/4/2006 09:18 | nikesh2 As in all the known laws of 'Supply and Demand' have at this moment been temporarily suspended as per your broker!! Nice one OC | olivercromwell
05/4/2006 09:14 | it was decent news yesterday, surprised it didnt open at higher price.... | nav1000
