Who cares? I sold mine at 8p or above.
But I care very much for the welfare of this wise rat
who took last Fri an advantage of the fake buying frisson
and flogged them two batches of 100K CINP. I think we should
crown the guy a King Rat.

wake up you sycophants and suckers, we've all been conned. SQC's 2008 profit forecast at £ 271k is a 45% downgrade on market expectations of £ 500k as published by Cinpart's house broker Newlands last November. Palmer and his mates must have known for months that £ 500k was unattainable but he never breathed a word, not even in his statement last Monday. There should have been a profit warning for 2008 and he bottled it. Nice one chairman, nice one son, let's have an Edison.

ian - I'll be happy if they under-promise and over-deliver (or even if they meet their promise, actually);

...but at least it is not a long a road as it was - a good chunk being behind us now!
reminds me somewhat of AUK, which I also had to be very patient with before reaping the reward in 2006

though, granted, CINP has been longer in gestation

I was hoping for some better growh projections. We must remember that Cinpart lost money in the first six months of 2007 (£ -0.1m). So it made its money in the last six months of 2007.

Time will tell. I hope I break even this year on Cinpart!
I got high hopes but its a long road

projections look very good:
- current P/E just 5.26
- FY2008 pretax profit and EPS more than doubling next FY, with P/E falling to a silly 2.78!

looking forward to seeing how Edison's report compares

Mike there is an analyst report out from SQC Research and its on the Cinpart website. To be honest its not much more than we all know already.

A target of 6p by year of 2008. I tend to disagree but we'll see!

up a nice 28% more today, expecting two reports out soon, following recent results;
but that's still barely making a dent on where it has come down from;
and, fair enough, it has had a lot of problems to warrant some of that fall,
but the long restructuring is starting to bear fruit, and there's scope for further progress and gains from here, IMO

Palmer called me back this afternoon:
He told me two reports should be out soon; one from house broker Newlands, the other from another; he was busy doing presentations in the City yesterday, which went down well apparently. He seemed pleased that progress was being made, but cautioned that it was a long road - but they were getting there.
DYOR (ie. by all means call him yourself!)

orders in to buy some more, but not getting filled...

ah - got a tiddler filled at 4p

Thanks Mike I am a long term holder of this company and have faith it will come good in the long run. Things are defintiely turning for the positive!

I have averaged down but think there is still some good value in this company.

finals out (earlier than I expected):
- return to profit after 5 years of losses (£0.11m profit from £0.3m loss),
- gross margins up to 33.5% (from 25.6%),
- shareholder funds improved to £0.8m (from negative equity £0.8m),
- debt and cash improved,
- restructuring OK
see - it is not a total disaster!

marked up a bit; currently 3/3.5p (no trades)


(not that I'm suggesting it may get back up to 1000p+ any time soon!)

110K return to profit in 5 years. A lousy profit that no doubt will turn back into a loss. Market cap 1.1m and still way to high.

There are much better companys out there. One to avoid, IMHO.

In those heady days when I had to report to LSE
my holding being 3.5% or so, I have offered myself
to good Mr Rogers, as a director and a representative of the
esteemed shareholders gathered here. My wide girth(compared to his puny frame)
was to be my trump card. Alas, he has turned me down. Not wide enough, obviously.

Oh, weep, weep the Cinpart for with my contacts in the Eastern Europe's
political and engineering circles, I might have saved you knuts from
yourselves. But will buy back in at 1p, as promised, for the old time's sake.
