Come to think of it, this reminds me of DTK in more ways than one:-

1. Stable target market - gov't & large corporates.

2. Leader in it's field

3. Cost reducing product.

In these rocky times (& it ain't over yet!) those are what I look for.

P.S. Hi there, Mike. It was you that prompted me in these!
'Ows things?

ok tks for that

suppose tougher legislation in the UK (making it compulsory to reduce voltage) is the holy grail for both vphase and cinpart :-)

Quite simply, whilst the 2 companies are in the voltage reduction business Vphase is aiming at the retail market and have to sell zillions of units(aprox £250 each) and Active-Energy (Cinpart)are selling to 3 phase customers whose electricity consumption is north of £100,000 annually and their units are £30,000 ish a pop!(ie CINP sell one unit to one customer compared to Vphase selling 1 unit each to 120 customers) CINP has an easy route to market and Vphase an incredibly difficult and expensive one!

Finally CINP has a working product, selling and has a huge market to sell to without getting remotely involved with a product that hasn't even completed its trials yet!!

And for what it is worth Vphase looks like it will get very low on cash before they enter the market properly. Look out for a Vphase fund raise at some point!

why dion't cinpart take over v-phase?

both are in the voltage reduction business in the UK (natural fit?)

redditch - yes - quite right to point that out

but here's £1.8m of cash...
...from CINP's first VoltageMaster order, today's RNS giving strong hints that there might be more to come from the current discussions with 'a numebr of local government authorities, purchasing authorities and major companies'.

Yes, they'll need capital to fulfill the orders, but they have some now, and if the order book firms-up, bank debt would be more readily available (reducing the chance of equity placing). IMO.

Anyway, since breaking the 10p level, the chart took the opportunity to slide back and re-test it from above, so the current bounce has merit. But quite when it will make another good advance, I'm not sure - it could wander between 10 and 13p for a while (building a pennant) before heading north again. OF course, another order would do no harm...

Emphasis of matter- going concern

All the hype surrounding Thomas Jones' research note is not shared by the group's auditors. Only weeks AFTER a major funding which saw the shares in issue more than double, most unusually the auditors clearly refused to sign off the 2008 accounts without a major health warning. ...'We have considered the adequacy of the disclosures in note 1 of the financial statements concerning the group's ability to continue as a going concern. These include the following material uncertainties:
*the achievability of forecasts and key assumptions within the forecasts; and
* the ability to obtain additional funding from alternative sources should it be required.
These conditions, along with other matters as disclosed in note 1, indicate the existence of material uncertainties which may cast significant doubt over the Group's ability to continue as a going concern.'
After a terrific ramp in the price the only question now is how soon and at what price will the market get filled in with another share issue because without it the auditor's warning says it's game over. And will Tom Jones spin this story accompanied by his old classic 'Its not unusual to write dung for anyone ( provided they pay for it)'?

cracking good voume behind this move up to break the 10p mark

of course it is a somewhat different company now, after the tribulations of the last few years, but I can't help looking at the longer term chart, and hoping for a bit more upwards retracement!

I saw their presentation a few weeks ago-the potential is clear and their info was that for any entity with over £100k in electricity bills then the payback is in 2 years.Carbon Trust loans assist the purchaser due to the green element. My question is can the management deliver?
I did buy in though at 7p where market cap is £4m-so 25p would be outstanding!!

MikeHardman,

Thanks for the reference to ProactiveInvestors.

All I do remember is that Buckland was to buy me a Bentley Continental.
This I have announced to all and sundry here, on this Board.
Eventually I floggem them shares at 8p roughly, having accumulated them
before with an average price of 12p. A good deal indeed.
Now I do drive a Smart car with another Smart,a Brabus one, Continental?, kept in reserve
in my garage. A worthy end to 23 stones in weight Investor.

Remind me fatso just to make me feel comfortable .
Didnt these consolidate 200/1 and were they not the equivalent of 30p not too long ago .??
No need to worry about share price surging yet for a while / still chance of another subcontractor appearing .

to my mind, the £700K will not keep them for long in champagne
and other Mayfair attractions. Sneaky rights issue to milk the market
while the going is good?
