pappy ,the yanks will feel the pinch soon enough. Exports will drop and borrowers internally will be squealing.UK manufacturers may find the recent materials increases are offset by increased interest from abroad.
Swings and roundabouts.
No doubt big US hedgies are lining up more UK companies to snaffle....If there are any left.

The BoE have no option but to raise interest rates, just like the European Central Bank, sparty! Why? Because the US Federal Reserve is intent on raising interest rates! If the UK & EU don't follow suit they run the risk of their respective currencies, the £ & €, losing even more value against the very strong US$ than is currently the case. If the £ & € dropped further against the US$ that would increase inflation in the UK & EU because the vast majority of commodities are priced in US$.
It pays to be keen on mathematical logic and facts, sparty.
