12/2/2008 13:33 | kenatbabken, arn't all your figures a little pie in the sky given that the licence hasn't been granted yet? Production would be quite a time away wouldn't it? As far as i'm aware we are due to receive the go ahead from the DRM any time soon. If the price is marked down again with no selling, people are going to be caught short of stock as once the moning licence is agreed we will fly. | bizz2bizz
12/2/2008 09:34 | I,ve been doing some figures on CHX based on prices and costs included in the BFS with the figures from December 06 With Lumpy and Chip ore going to local smelters representing 31.5% of production and the Concentrate going for export representing 28.5% of production and 40% waste,I get the following figures Production 600,000 tonnes at $58.63 per tonne $35,178,000 Total costs as defined in the BFS Costs 600,000 tonnes at $21.00 per tonne $12,600,000 With the above figures based on just the Mecklenburg mine this could be a very profitable company once the problems with the mining permit is resolved and production starts hopefully in April as planned. If the above figures also apply to the Mkombi Stellite mine with 15 million tonne resource this could become a cash cow Anyone got any thoughts on it? | kenatbabken

04/9/2007 08:47 | 4th September 07 Chromex Mining: Gets the green light at Mecklenburg and acquires another chromite interest. ...3 of the 15 million tonnes of ore are amenable to open pit mining and will be fast tracked for development first, offering the potential for Chromex to move from having no production, to two producing mines in the next 12 months | aim_trader
14/8/2007 13:17 | Yeah, I'm watching but not buying until they settle the dispute over their mining rights at Mecklenberg. It was though reassuring to see the chairman buy more shares at 22p recently. | martin c-j
