Posted at 27/9/2010 11:47 by bonsoir7 heh heh sorryCHX 32/35 CHXW 12/15 interesting, no premium at all in the warrants for the gearing they give you access to i'd have thought a fairer warrant price would be close to 20p |

Posted at 13/9/2010 11:38 by ninjapete2 I doubt the prospective bidder will raise an offer from 35p to 50p. Maybe they will squeeze 40p. If CHX hold out for more the talks will fail IMHO. After all something is only worth as much as somebody else is prepared to pay for it. |
Posted at 07/9/2010 14:44 by sailing john LD - As you indicated there appeared to be a market anomaly between CHXW and CHX recently as shares moved up above 30p under staedy buying pressure but no warrant trades so they got left behind. Someone got a bargain yesterday.Still a long way to go yet - so not expecting any further movement unless we get some leaks. The recent buyside pressure suggests that someone has confindence that the deal will be done above 35p IMHO SJ |
Posted at 31/8/2010 14:22 by leighton denny CHX is 30/33CHXW is 7/11 almost no premium on the warrants for the enhanced gearing ! |
Posted at 19/7/2010 14:05 by robson1974 bit more sensible nowCHX 28.5-32.0 CHXW 9.0 - 14.0 |
Posted at 19/7/2010 14:03 by robson1974 CHX 28-31CHXW 9-10 nuts surely? you can buy the warrants at equivalent price of 30p and have more gearing to further increases in the stock ! |
Posted at 15/7/2010 11:46 by robson1974 there is a CHXW thread, details there but in shortthey have about 15 months until expiry so plenty of time value as these things go the exercise price is 20p so you can buy the warrants at 10p which give the right to buy 1 CHX share at 20p thus if you buy CHXW at 10p and the bid goes through at 35p the warrant should be worth 15p (35p - 20p) if a bid comes in at 40p the warrant should be worth 20p (40p-20p) personally i think long term intrinsic and time value will be much higher so happy if no low ball bid eventuates |
Posted at 22/6/2010 13:28 by robson1974 CHX is 24/25pCHXW quoted spread is 5/8p but you can seemingly trade within the spread why would you not buy the warrants here rather than shares ? If CHX goes to 48/50p for example the upside on shares is 100% In such a scenario the warrants would probably trade at 28/30p ? implying almost 300% upside the gearing matrix is as follows by my calcs 50% Stock Upside 125% Warrant upside ? 100% Stock Upside 300% Warrant upside ? 150% Stock upside 525% Warrant upside ? CHX results announcement is due soon apparently, i would always prefer to buy after results in these opaque situations myself |
Posted at 27/5/2010 13:02 by moosh2 so if current CHXW to buy is 8p, then warrant share price 28p?. but CHX share price is 26p to buy. so aren't you paying over the odds already on the CHXW?! |
